Located on the edge of Lismore CBD with easy street access, my check-in was quickly done. Car parking is a mix of undercover and open car parking. My room was clean and a good size, whilst having a microwave and a good sized small fridge. The small ensuite bathroom was clean though the smell of bleach was strong and running the shower considerably reduced the smell. I slept well, as the bed was firm but comfortable. Late at night during my 2 night stay, a couple of guests were heard yelling, but this occurred at 2 different rooms. Early in the morning after my 1st nights stay, police arrived with lights and sirens to park across the driveway, blocking street access, then spoking with a guest which is not something, the motel has any control over. A number of the rooms are upstairs and stairs are the only access, with the front stair not having a light operating. I also found that a previous guest had put a sock over a wall light as I'm guessing it was too bright. Overall for the price the room was reasonable value. I think the room rates as a 3.7 out of 5, so gave it 4,

No towels, no soap, no milk, one pkt of bikkies for two of us, used shampoo bottles left in the shower. Gave us the wrong room as wife cannot climb stairs, on a walker. Finally got new room after arguing that it was going to cost us extra for a ground floor unit. We said not paying extra that we'd booked all of this online and even emailed and rang the motel to ensure we had a ground level room. Very disappointing.

Its location is very handy to the shops and eateries. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They were a pleasure to deal with. The rooms are very clean and have all you need to make your stay comfortable. The family rooms are very spacious and a very big bathroom. Enjoyed my stay over a number of nights.

Stayed for 5 nights & my room was not cleaned at all. I had to ask for my bin to be emptied as it was overflowing & for fresh towels.room was ok & had everything you needed. It seems the motel is also used by homeless people. Great location & plenty of parking even undercover. It's under new management since the floods & service is non existent.

Unless we scored the worst room in the complex I am at a loss as to how this place gets such good reviews. Dis-organised check in. We did book on a web booking service. Room had a reno some time ago. Nothing seems to match anything. No hand soap. There was a container present but was empty.||Plenty of mould on ceiling in shower and mouldy window in the room. Mattress is firm which is fine but pillows are like rubber. Uncomfortable night's sleep. Blanket was undersize for the bed type.||Shared the single packet of two buiscuits provided.

Absolutely disgusting. Would not recommend. We booked a family ‘delux’ room and it was pitiful. Smelt of cigarette smoke, fire alarm ripped out, light switch was burnt out, tv not working, air con leaking, and tv cabinet was broken apart and just left in the room. Not clean and felt/smelt damp.
We cancelled booking and left.

Terrible, terrible motel.
Very blunt and rude upon arrival. Told me 99 on the phone for a queen room, when I got there they told me 130.
The room smelt very bad of old sheets. The sheets looked fresh, but the mattress had what looked like wee and blood stains. Putrid.
The microwave had mouldy food in it.
The shower also had mould.
And the best part? Poo in the toilet.
Absolutely disgusting. Would never recommend.
Would absolutely never ever stay here again.

RECENT NEW MANAGEMENT:

A group of us stayed here over new years... rooms weren't overly clean but fine. We left a do-not-disturb sign on the door when we went out and they still went in and made up the room (minor concern with privacy).

BBQ facilities were clean and worked so we used them one night.

When we first checked in, our friends had already been there for over an hour and were then asked to change rooms (was less of a question in the end) which was inconvenient but the owners attempted to accommodate where they could. In this situation, the owners had only taken ownership of the business that week so there would have been a few hand-over/ teething issues.

Overall it was fine to stay there, but we've already been told the price will increase next year so will be looking elsewhere next time
