The caretaker is just absolutely lovely, so helpful and welcoming. The park is really well looked after and spacious right on the river and very close to New Norfolk Town Centre. The laundry is excellent and bathrooms etc are as good or better than any of the big commercial caravan parks.

We returned to New Norfolk Campground after a visit a couple of years ago and were once again impressed. The location is excellent, with a stunning river and cliffside walk that’s well worth exploring. During our stay, we were lucky to catch the local market, which added to the experience.
The staff were welcoming, and the amenities were clean, though slightly dated. However, given the nightly rate, I feel the council could provide more financial support to enhance the facilities. Overall, a great spot with plenty of charm

Service was amazing, the lady that I met was so lovely. Amenities were the cleanest I’ve come across in a long time. Camp kitchen was small but clean & tidy with everything you need. On the pricier side but would definitely come back.

We stayed over for one night in camper van on a powered site. All repairs after flood damage repaired. The showers and toilets spotless and new. I can’t remember when last I used such clean facilities in Tasmania. I found the managers very friendly and helpful. The park seems to be well maintained and is situated next to the Derwent River.

Toilets new. Excellent showers and laundry facilities. Spotlessly clean. Disregard previous posts as all repair work is completed. Friendly welcome. Well cared for caravan park and amenities beside the scenic Derwent River.

Great location. They had a flood earlier in 2024 and the temp facilities are a bit 'ordinary'!
Glad to be able to stay here as there isn't much else available in the greater non-RV-friendly Hobart area.

Lovely spot.
The amenities block has been flooded, and not yet repaired. The temporary amenities are basic.
I think for the cost of a site, the amenities should be better.
The council needs to rethink their costing policy until the amenities are fixed.
Also, to charge families extra for their children is a bit over the top.
