I came here to meet Kelli to offer my time in volunteer work, my way of giving back to the community that I love so much. We live in a great city. Lovely place, atmosphere, clean, very friendly and courteous staff. Kelli was able to direct me to volunteering organisations such as Hands on Art, AAA Digital Inclusion program and Resident Age Care Facility programs.
There’s a lot of on street parking

An excellent Communify project funded by the Queensland government which it is a non-profit organization that accepts donations! Showers are available to the homeless! The 2nd Thursday of every month a barbecue with delicious salads & soft drinks are provided for the needy! Computers are available for public use! To print you need to pay 20 cents per page! Tuesdays also a meal is provided! You can call in & have a coffee during opening hrs! There are many self help groups offered! The centre is undergoing renovations at the moment! Wheelchair access to the center is down the back way because there are stairs at the front entrance! There is a bus stop on either side of the street! A Chaplain is available always to assist in any social issues or advice needed! He cooks the sausages & steaks on the Thursday barbecue! A little short friendly outgoing young man! Very approachable! while the usual Centre is being renovated the location is 860 Brunswick Street!

Very friendly and helpful staff, peaceful place. Entry to new premises at 860 Brunswick Street is via the back of the building, on Amelia Street. Parking available. They politely asked us not to walk via the neighbour's alleyway as the neighbours have been complaining about it.
