Visitor to HB..
Nice clean shop, Super friendly service & not too long a wait even though it was quite busy.
I only ordered chips & they were 10/10. Crispy, golden & not greasy.
I must say though, when I was handed the LITTLE packet that I just paid $5 for, I was a bit shocked. BUT surprisingly, when I opened it there were more chips in there than I thought there would be.
Worth $5? Maybe not, but they are REALLY GOOD. The price you pay.

I had the pleasure to try Ned's by the bay fish and chips, this would have to be the best fish we have eaten for years, absolutely delicious the chips were spot on tasty and fresh along with calamari and sea scallops, perfect service and very clean. Thank you again

This was hands down the best fish and chips I’ve had in years. Can’t believe I have walked past it for two years not realising what I was missing. I had the Flathead and chips and a potato scallop.

Under rated fish n chips on the esplanade.
Chips are cooked well, not flooded in batter. Nice coating of tasty chicken salt. Scallops are perfect, not oily or paper thin potato with 99% batter.
Beef burger is damn nice. The beef is well made not light and tastless like a lot of places. Try the beef burger with a side of chips. Small gravy will get you through it with some to spare.
Im not a fish eater but the girl praises it.

Give them a go.

Very disappointed about the amount of chips I received for $7. I got a large chips ( $7 ) thinking it could feed my 3 kids under 5 and give my partner and myself abit to nibble on but it was barely enough for my kids. Tasted good and service was good but I left feeling very ripped off.

Really lovely staff and super fast service.
The food was nice.
It is a great traditional, fish and chip. Order, collect and get to the beach. Perfect spot to eat right across the road.
