Such an amazing evening. The food was outstanding, could not be faulted at any point every course was delicious. The service we received was perfect. The atmosphere was a stand out, the way the restaurant is set up, it doesn't feel like you're on top of one another. We had a 6pm booking and highly enjoyed dining during the sunset. Would highly recommend anyone to make a booking if you want to indulge while in town.

Our degustation dinner experience at Nautilus was everything promised and more. It absolutely exceeded our expectations. Every course was mouth watering. The service by all the staff was personal, friendly, welcoming and attentive. The setting tropical and comfortable. It was a real treat and we look forward to going again when we are next in Port Douglas. Don’t pass up the opportunity.

This is the best restaurant in Port Douglas. The staff were incredibly nice and took time to explain the menu to me.
I wanted something native to the area so I ordered what was recommended. I'm not a foodie at all but the food was amazing.
The atmosphere is great, you feel like you want to spend money here.
If you're in the area and you want to eat something amazing. You need to come to the Nautilus restaurant, you will not regret it 😊

One word “wow”, what an exceptional fine dining experience. The Classic Degustation menu was superb! The flavours were exquisite in all dishes. To add to this, you have friendly, attentive staff all in a tropical setting in the rain forest and you have a magical experience. Would highly recommend.

It was my partner’s birthday and the place is a must try. 5 course meal with great and elite selection of wine. Everything was so fresh and to our liking. The staff was polite and had knowledge of what is being served. I believe I made a really good decision choosing them. 😊😊 we will be back as we know the menu changes all the time also forgot to mention the restaurant is in a rain forest setting which very calm and welcoming.

Do yourself a favour and book ahead if you’re heading to Port Douglas - one of the best dining experiences I’ve had. Service was impeccable from start to finish, great atmosphere, beautiful surroundings and of course, sensational food.

Everything I had was remarkable and cooked to perfection, you can choose to do a wine pairing for $70 per person or indulge in some delicious cocktails if you were wanting to add some drinks to your evening.

Overall a 10/10 experience with no faults, would dine again if given the opportunity in the future.

What an amazing experience! Set in tropical forest we sat amongst the trees and slowly dined a 6 course sublime pescatarian degustation. The staff were all so professional and made the experience even more enjoyable. Thank you to our waiter Remy and all the staff at Nautilus we will back next time we are in Port Douglas.

Nautilus was not only the best dining experience we had in Port Douglas, but perhaps one of the best we’ve had in the broader region. We had the classic degustation with an additional whole coral trout.

There is so much attention to detail I’m each dish, from the pork floss on the scallops to the frozen white chocolate beneath the dragonfruit sorbet.

The scenery is very special, outdoors with a canopy above and surrounded by foliage.

Service was impeccable - the whole coral trout was carved at the table.

The only minor area for improvement were the fact that the lighting was a little on the low side - particular near the edge of the restaurant. The food portions were also massive and in hindsight the 1kg coral trout was overkill between the two of us. They were kind enough to halve the size of our next dishes and pack the other half to go.
