DEFINITELY DO NOT STAY HERE
We arrived around 3 o clock to get there before office closed, only to find we had to ring to get into our room. Office hours on door are incorrect as for the week we never saw it open.
We booked for a week and cost us more than the other 8 places we stayed at.
Upon entering I found dead black insects all over the bed. The smell of sewerage was so bad my husband had to boil the kettle and pour down all the drains every day.
Couldn't cook for the whole week as everything was dirty and mold was on some pots. 2x half rolls of toilet paper for 2 of us for a week, what a joke.
In all the years travelling this is the worst, dirtiest place we have ever stayed at.
The gardens, amenities are amazing.
The Thai restaurant was the best Thai we had ever eaten and ate there every night as I couldn't use the kitchen.
We had to return 10 minutes after leaving as I forgot my medication and the cleaner couldn't care less about my concerns.
Photos look amazing but definitely Do Not Stay.

Villa unit 153
Arrived at 3.00pm no one at reception despite the advertised open until 5:00pm. Finally found a mobile no in tiny print on door and instructions were given for a key safe. Villa unit had a trailer parked in one of 2 spots loaded with stuff including a rusty old fridge. On entry to unit there was a very musty smell. The air conditioning unit does not serve the second bedroom. Only ceiling fans.
Furnishings were ugly and at least 30 years old and couch was badly stained. There was hardly any cutlery or crockery and the oven was dirty. No WiFi and limited tv stations.
Booked for 3 nights at $300 per night. Cannot wait to leave. I do not recommend this unit.

Really enjoyed our one night overnight stay at Nautilus, whilst on a drive holiday to northern NSW. |Easy to find, located right on the beach, excellent swimming pool, great Thai restaurant onsite, easy walking distance from our room.||Brian greeted us and was warm, welcoming and informative. The rooms are stylishly decorated and have heaps of snacks and extras. Great after a long drive.||Having a brand new car, what I particularly was pleased with was the carport undercover parking. We could relax as storm clouds and thunder (no hail fortunately) rolled by.

Arrived after 8hr trip to find out they changed the room I booked, they said it was better then the one I booked but no explanation why they changed it. The rooms are very average motel/unit style and the split system isn’t working on heat. There was no bath in the new room. The beds are hard and lumpy , the parking spaces are really compact so are the drive ways, also a long walk down a steep hill to the beach front, not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. And everything echoes so can here evey person outside the unit talking cars pulling up , Iv been to a lot of resorts and this is very average, Best part about this place nice view when down at the beach.

The rooms are individually and privately owned and the owners decide what facilities and items the units have. Do not book room 144.
1. NO WIFI - I had a late check in and went to reception the first morning to be told that the unit that I had booked didn't have wifi. The reception worker laughed when I said that all accommodation should have wifi these days. She complains that she is just the middle person and can't make the owners put wifi in. Why wouldn't they have a uniform service to all units.
2. Kitchen items were insufficient. 4 person room with 3 forks, no chopping board, no large bowl for a salad or chips, no microwave safe plates or bowls. I did request a chopping board and bowl from reception but did not receive this during my stay.
Separate to the individual rooms, other issues include that we did not see a toilet in any public area's whilst using the pool.
Advert shows a spa but rules are that kids under 12 are not allowed in even with an adult which was not on the website.
My following stop was at a Big 4 and I had wifi plus sufficient kitchen equipment for a kitchenette for a much cheaper price.

Pros: |just a walk to the beach| We LOVED the spa|The restaurant has great food.||Cons:|- the bathroom light was flickering on day 1. Eventually died a few hours later. We had to shower with the door open relying on the lights from the room. We didn't complain because we thought we'd manage. |- toiletries provided was just for 1 day. Bring your own is my advise. |- heating was non existent in the main bedroom. We had to open the door and have a bit of warmth from the heat pump located in the living room/kitchen|- they only provided 1 key for technically 2 apartments (adjoint). We unfortunately locked ourselves out. Rang the call centre number which took awhile to ring back. After hours person turned up after nearly 2 hrs. Note that this is in the middle of winter and though this was our fault, they could have provided a 2nd key or a key that's accessible from the reception 24/7. We got charged $55 extra for that. |- the pool was stone cold. Kids weren't able to use it. |- as with the other reviews this place needs an upgrade. For the price we paid, it's not worth it at all..||Decided to splurge on this holiday. My husband chose the place thinking the rooms are exactly as the pictures advertised. If I made the choice I would not have agreed to booking this. Unfortunately there's similar reviews. I don't think they bother. Definitely not recommended.|

I booked this location for my husband and this is what he through of it -
It was so nice to stay in such a beautiful location in Coffs Harbour, right on their private beach was so good. The Managers were great and couldn't do enough for me. From the clean room with it's over the top basket of snacks too many to list. The Thai restaurant was so nice. I had to make an effort to try other places. It was so nice to have a lovely area that you could sit have a drink and look at the beach as the sun was setting. I highly recommend the Nautilus Beachfront if you are looking for accommodation in Coffs.
