It's cheap , barely cheerful but it's basic accommodation for a basic price.
The access from rear steps and lack of lighting around the place make it a little dangerous at night . If it was raining I would expect some falls. Next time I stay ill offer to put mew bulbs in where they are needed, including the hallways and shower areas.

Not that impressed with my room standard at $82! 'Last room left' & girl wouldnt let me view it before I paid for it So guess that's why! Share bathrooms & loos very ordinary along with other areas. Bad drainage! Flooded shower floors ugh!
I could not really recommend this place to stay.
When I saw photos online on their website then I expect to walk into a room looking as good as if not better. Nothing short of a backpacker hostel to me! $82 a night I got charged for a very disappointing stay!
I wouldn't stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

The mould in the showers and dirt on the windows were pleasant compared to the staff.

Some “human” called Cat tried to kick me out at 2am after fully paying for a room, that room being filled, and me agreeing to pay full price to sleep on the lounge (my grandma’s funeral combined with festival…I had no choice). She/it kicked from a quiet lounge that was agreed by the manager that I could sleep on, and forced to sleep on the floor (no mattress) of an occupied room. She then bashed on the door until awakening everyone because she failed to ask for a copy of my ID when I checked in, and she wanted it right there and then.

You have no idea what I was going through, what I am capable of, and what I almost did to you…you revolting excuse for a human. I will find you

Rooms well you get what you pay for. Couldn't say room was clean because it wasn't the case. Found food scraps on mattress under the sheet. Dusty shower filthy blocked cold water i found the hot water took a long time to heat up but i couldn't wait to get out of it. Staff said to people infront in me keep room tidy thats a joke obviously. Wouldnt stay here again even if it was last place in town my cars much better.

Where do I start. Absolutely disgusting .Dirty,
Room stunk of smoke ,no soap in toilet ,Common lounge room not even cleaned, Kitchen still had food on the cutting board from the other grubs staying there .And does not open on a Sunday and was not told till an hour before I got there. I lasted 3 hours and found another place. Could not wait to get out of there. There should be minus stars for this hotel .Do not stay there utterly Disgusting

Illegally not allowing a customer who is disabled to have their Guide Dog and the rude way your staff handled the situation. It is ILLEGAL to refuse a room to a disabled person with a service dog! disgraceful!

Nice revamp, warm n welcoming. Entertainment was great...the dale Robinson band. Waitresses efficient but menu-wise not accommodating much at all . there was no option for just a plate of Veggies, even with a side :/ a shame, all pubs have been to are happy to do this or is already on the menu...a vegetarian option (not that I am, just not a big eater and meals are huge ) entree not too bad. Menu and presentation were fine. When someone smoked out front, came straight inside ?

The bed was old and soft. no rubbish bin and the carpet was dirty. I was not advised there would be a band which was loud but being a pub/hotel I half expected that and it did stop at a reasonable hour which was great . No TV in room which was a little disappointing considering it had tv bracket on wall. Room No 9 had about 6 or 7 people in and little kids running up and down hall way slamming doors at all hours which kept us awake. (I understand this is not really the hotels fault but it made it difficult to sleep.) As I walked past in the morning the room door was wide open and there were extra beds on the floor. I wouldn't stay there again.
