After coming here for many years and loving it, we stopped last week to have our usual lunch break.
We normally sit outside but were confronted with an overwhelming smell of dog muck and there was litter all-round the base of the building (obviously old). There were used dishes scattered round the tables waiting to be cleared. No other customers seen.
I went inside to be greeted with more used dishes stacked by the counter where you order. There was no other customer visible. I was greeted (and I use that word very loosely) by a young girl who gave the impression that she would rather be anywhere than there. I asked her if the tables could be cleaned - she said "yeah" and walked off. Another more pleasant girl came out and started clearing. I asked if the management had changed, and she told me that it had............
Anyway, we left as the dog muck smell was revolting.
I am so disappointed and sad that this venue has gone downhill so much with the new management.
I will never come here again and thank you for ruining what was such a lovely spot to have lunch. I hope you're proud of yourselves.

And fresh scones and jam and cream..
And washed it down with the best iced chocolates.
Great service and 5 star breakfast 👌 and the rainbow lorikeets cleaned our plates and glasses for us.

While a little more on the pricier side, the food is delicious. I believe most is homemade and the salad is so lovely and fresh. Has outside area where you can have your dog, or lovely air con inside with tables covered in paper with crayons to entertain the kids.
Definitely recommend having a meal, or a desswet or drink if you are anywhere near Esk!

We had the pleasure of visiting Nash Café on Father’s Day weekend, and it turned out to be the perfect choice for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The atmosphere inside the café was incredibly comforting, especially on such a hot day. The air-conditioned space, combined with the cozy and inviting decor, offered a cool escape from the heat, making it a great spot to unwind.

One of the highlights of our visit was the milkshakes. My son absolutely loved them and ended up ordering a double serving – they were that good! The creamy texture and sweet, rich flavor made for a perfect treat.

My wife couldn’t get enough of her favorite dish: the omelette with cooked mushrooms, chopped tomatoes, and spinach. The combination of fresh ingredients made for a delicious and satisfying meal. As for me, I went with the Traveller's Breakfast, and it didn’t disappoint. The scrambled eggs were light and fluffy, and the crispy bacon was just the right amount of crunchy – truly a comforting classic.

The service was also wonderful, with the staff being friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. Nash Café really hit the mark for a family-friendly spot with great food, tasty drinks, and a welcoming environment. We’ll definitely be back for another visit soon!

I love this place! It is in such a nice area with cute birds to take pictures of! The staff and service was really good and I would definately recommend it to anyone coming to esk or anyone who needs a place to eat with yummy food.

So happy we decided to have my sisters surprise 70th birthday here. The staff were amazing, the manager was fabulous, so efficient and friendly, she bent over backwards to organise things just the way we wanted them. Serving a table of 16 was done so smoothly. The food was beautiful, great menu including a good selection of gluten free options. My whole family loved the garden atmosphere, best family gathering we've had in years. Highly recommend 💕
