Stumbled upon this little gem while looking for wholemeal bread. Two of the friendliest gals in Australia (sorry ladies, I didn’t catch your names) so helpful and so professional! We got one wholemeal bread and two pastries. All delicious!

I have tried drive thru coffee and many other places but this bakery has the best coffee by far. And the variety of baked goods, sandwiches, pies, bread and sweets are endless and so yummy especially the cream buns! The team are so hard working and they try their best to serve as fast as they can. Some days they may be short staffed but it is worth the wait! I always look forward to going for a coffee and snack on my day off.

Hands down the best bakery is Cairns!!! 🙌 The pies are outstanding and the bread is fricken amazing 👏 For me, the new sandwich bar located in the store is better than Subway. Well done to the team at My Village Bakehouse for the excellent work they are doing everyday. 💯

Their refurbished shop is outstanding. Sit inside from the heat or outside for ambience, your needs are catered for.

My favourite, their pea pie - yum.

When I looked at the website and went there, it was completely different from the picture! The product was less than the picture, and I was very disappointed without my favourite pie.
This is exactly what happens when there is a lie in the picture, so I probably won't go again.

Brought the most amazing Prawn Mornay pie about 2 months ago. Tried weekly to buy more but unfortunately always sold out, except for today.
I was so pleased to take home for lunch but that's where it ended.
Clearly you have another baker or perhaps it's just a matter of making more money, but the pie was DISGUSTING. I don't mind paying anything for a good pie but come on ! It was ALL thickening. One bite, then in the bin.
Stop ripping people off. Go back to real pie making. So disappointing. Only fit for the pigs.

I highly recommend this bakery because the food is great. The staff are friendly, and I'm grateful for there help. Cheesecake is my favourite, but I did enjoy the coconut slice and the beef bacon cheese pie.
