We booked and stayed 7 nights, having left this morning. An amazing location to stay if you are visiting the Gold Coast. Large site, great amenities. The managers, Donna and Peter are amazing. Due to a lot of rain the Showgrounds were very wet and one evening we risked having to evacuate. Donna and Peter were calm, making sure all guests were informed and ready. We have stayed at fancier, much more expensive caravan parks on the Gold Coast however we will return to Murwillumbah Showgrounds for all future visits.

Wow, one of the best Showgrounds we have ever stayed at. The caretakers are just the loveliest people. So friendly and helpful. The grounds & amenities are extremely well looked after & a real credit to them. The view of the mountains is absolutely stunning and the sunset over the mountains is so beautiful.|We will definitely return there again.|

Place had a fair bit of rain before we arrived so some sites were washed out. We didn't book and we were told we might be lucky. Didn't bother trying to stay longer as they seemed stressed. Good amenities, dump point, no grey water on the grass and easy walk into town. Would try again if not wet

Travelling with a 21’ caravan. Was placed on the decomposed granite area within the Showgrounds due to heavy rain in the last few weeks on a fully 240v powered site. The staff are friendly and very accomodating. They even supplied a bucket for our grey water capture. There is only one tap in the shower, which although was quite warm, you had no control over water temperature. All sites looked quite flat with easy access and the area was well maintained. If you have a grey water tank attached to your caravan, this will make disposal so much easier. Dump point was simple and effective. Rail trail and swimming pool are nearby for the active travellers.

Camped at The Murwillumbah Showgrounds for three nights. Excellent value. Donna was so very helpful. Clean. Close to town. Quiet.||The views are spectacular. ||We watched the lightning crack over canfields. We laughted and sang “This is Australia”.

You could not ask for more from this Show ground. Nice large sites, amenities spotless. A pleasure to stay there and the 2 people that run it are amazing, couldn’t be more helpful. Would not hesitate to visit this show ground again.

Great place. I was lucky to meet the short term managers Donna and Peter and they are warm, kind, helpful people who kept the excellent facilities clean and tidy.

Car broke down ,got in too late (it was still daylight) with van on tow truck, caretaker very unhelpfull wouldn't open up the gate. Had to spend on a vacant block opposite mechanic's workshop. Very arrogant person, not a good ambassador for the town.
