Our family dinner at Murphy's was very pleasant! The staff were very friendly & welcoming! The food was fantastic & prices reasonable! It's a MUST place to visit if you love that homely feel! We always ENJOY our time at Murphy's! THANKS 😃

Didnt even stay 10min. Place was packed not the issue, was told we would have to go ask up stairs for a table. Waited at the bar and watched people get served before me so i said something. Got massive attitude from the guy behind the bar and was told there where no tables we could eat at (asked a server on the way out and she pointed to 2 table and said they where free. )

I attended with a group of friends for a St Patrick’s day lunch 2025. We all had high expectations of an enjoyable lunch, but left disappointed .
My friend had booked online, but upon arrival was advised there was no booking. My friend was able to show a confirmation message and fortunately a table was made available for us.
We all ordered the Beef and Guinness pie which at $32 was what we considered to be quite expensive. Imagine our surprise then that it was served in a cardboard bowl and we were expected to eat it with bamboo disposable cutlery. A request for proper cutlery was denied, as the staff member advised there was none available.
The pie itself was overall quite disappointing and definitely not worth $32. While parts of the pie were tasty enough, some of the group found large pieces of gristly fat and bacon rind in their pies. We all ended up leaving most of the pie.
In summary, this was a very disappointing experience and one we would not wish to repeat. I don’t expect any of us will return any time soon.

Food was very average, we waited 40 minutes and decided to go to the bar to ask for a waiter. One of the waitresses was pretty abrupt and not friendly.

We have visited Murphy’s a number of times this week. The food has been delicious. We have not always been able to finish the substantial meals but staff are more than happy to provide takeaway containers! The view from the top floor is outstanding!
All staff are very helpful and hard working.
Murphy’s is a great pub.
I forgot to mention that my wife requires gluten free because she is coeliac.
This pub is perfect. Chips cooked in separate oil etc.

Very good service, friendly & attentive, we had a booth up the back which was very comfortable for 4. Meals were a bit of a let down on the night. Generous proportions but the Parma was over cooked, fish & chips were a little too oily & Guinness pie full of flavour but meat "chewy".

We ordered dinner and I specifically asked for the garlic bread to come first so the kids and I could enjoy! No chance. Kids meals came out and then my main course and garlic bread at the same time.it is called an entree for a reason! Food was nice but if you can’t do as asked then not coming back. Also asked for a view and got tucked in the back!

Great pub, upstairs bar is a highlight also. The service & food have always been top notch. Looking forward to having another visit there soon.
