Had a wonderful two night stay at Mt Jukes Eco Resort, in a glamping tent. Wonderful setup with everything you need. Really is a magical place if you are looking to stop and unwind, as soon as we entered we felt relaxed and calm. The sauna and creek swim was invigorating. Lovely hosts. Great response and communication.

From the moment I arrived I felt drawn to the volcanic mountain, the grounds and Dave and Aune! My glamping tent was absolutely beautiful! Very restful and calming. The day retreat was something I won’t ever forget. Very grounding and spiritual experience, followed by a sauna and a swim in the crystal clear stream. All the food served was delicious and all grown on the grounds! Thank you both so much, thoroughly enjoyed my Retreat. Highly recommend 🩷

First time visiting a yoga retreat and I’m blown away. From the moment we got out of the car the tranquility surrounds you. Dave and Aune welcomed us and the whole day was relaxing and enjoyable. The yoga, the sauna and the freshwater dip 🥶 was a fantastic experience. Special mention to the chef Aune, the food was so delicious we all went back for more!! Definitely go back again 😊

This place is such a beautiful hidden gem. So serene and peaceful. The glamping tent we stayed in was cute, clean and extremely comfortable. The bath of the deck was the highlight for us, along with the homemade chai tea, YUM!!

Spent 4 days here hoping to find a quiet place to wind down and relax. We could not have asked for a more perfect place. Location, set up (we chose the glamping tents), owners, scenery, the wildlife, the mountain that you can’t take you’re eyes away for some reason, all make Mt Jukes Eco Retreat an incredible place to get away, relax and unwind. Looking forward to maybe coming back to join a retreat. Dave and Aune have created a very special place in an amazing location. Thank you 🙏

Fantastic Weekend Escape! Beautiful glamping accomodation on a very unique piece of nature land with the spirit of Mount Jukes around us. We have enjoyed the yoga and pranayama/meditation class, the sauna, the natural pool and the pure and healthy food...everything is carefully prepared and offered with love. The full one day retreat was a great way to end the year with yoga, delicious vegan food from the Chai House, sound healing, sauna and a refreshing dip in the natural spring. Dave and Aune have created such a unique space only 30 mins from Mackay, perfect for a little retreat in nature. Met some really lovely people and had some great conversations. I only wish I had booked a couple nights to stay and soak it all in even more! A good excuse to visit again. Thanks so much for opening up and sharing this beautiful place you have crafted with authentic hearts and souls. Rocco the Groodle was a delight as well! Happy New Year! I will be back! 🙂

Wonderful, relaxing stay. Beautiful, natural setting, with well tended areas. Variety of accommodation options and all beautifully appointed, professionally finished. Food provided was excellent, with quality ingredients and delicious at every meal. Complimentary bathroom organic wash etc. Bidets installation must make a great difference to the sustainability success of the enterprise. Yoga, meditation, infra-red saunas, creek dips were all very well appreciated and educational. Thank you for the retreat and all the efforts you made the weekend 💕
