This is now my 6th stay at Mt Hay retreat and it never fails to impress. From the warm welcome to the incredibly spacious and relaxing suites, I can't get enough of this oasis to relax and unwind for a short visit when I need to recharge the batteries. I love that the owners provide recommendations of amazing places to visit in the local area to make the trip all the more special, on this occasion we had dinner at South on Albany which was lovely and took a trip out to Bowral to visit the Sir Don Bradman museum. Anthony gave us the great tip to take a different route back to enjoy the varied scenery that the area has to offer and it didn't disappoint. ||Each day started with a swim in the amazing pool and each night ended with some down time on the balcony watching the world go by before collapsing into the giant bed for a great night of sleep. ||I will definitely be coming back for a 7th stay at some stage.

never slept so comfortable outside home... very comfy beds, the caretakers Louise and Anthony are amazingly helpful, responsive and caring. the place is very well looked after, clean, fresh relaxing. |will definitely go back there and will also tell friends about it

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at Mount Hay Retreat. We were greeted on arrival by our outstanding hosts, Anthony & Louise and the delightful Griff & Douglas. Our hosts had a wonderful 'can-do' attitude & nothing appeared to be too much trouble. The unit we stayed in was very spacious and comfortably warmed against the brisk outside temperature. The bed was also very comfortable. The bowl of local fruit was really a lovely addition. The awe-inspiring view coupled with the absolute peace & serenity of the location, provided a great opportunity to relax at a "cellular" level which is impossible when living in a busy, noisy city.

We stayed 3 nights in the Escarpment Suite. Very modern open plan with an amazing view. The Retreat sits in a stunning rural landscape with distant ocean view and gorgeous gardens surrounding the suites. The indoor 33m swimming pool is brilliant for doing laps. Anthony was the perfect host.

It is such a beautiful property with some of the best scenery I have had in any of the places we have stayed.

Perfect, hosts were so welcoming and the property felt like we were entirely alone. So relaxing and the views were amazing. The rooms are very private and well appointed. The indoor pool was a great addition and overall was an amazing experience. Will return

Me and my partner celebrated our 3rd year anniversary in this paradise! We’ve spent 2 nights here.

Anthony, the owner, made us feel so welcomed and even helped us with our packed bags and luggage into our suite.
He also gave us a lot of recommendations of where to eat and go!

Our room, the king suite is so beautiful and has a very nice breathtaking view. The room is huge even the toilet.

We’ve been provided with fresh fruits and milk too. The amenities inside the room are complete (some of them you have to ask, free if charge)

The pool is hugeeee! We enjoyed our swim! They also have a jacuzzi which is good for relaxing after the swim!

All in all our stay is superb! Highly recommended and we’ll definitely come back to this place!

My partner and I spent 2 nights here in “the big blue” suite . Everything was amazing. Amazing service, location, view and price. It was so peaceful and perfect for a little getaway. We will definitely be going again.
