It's a really cute place. We stayed in cabin 8 at the end of the lil road and it was a very peaceful and quiet place. The cabin had a very nice view and a roomy shower and balcony. There is a nice ac on the wall that does pretty well at cooling it down. There is no wifi in this cabin but the TV had a lot of shows. We kept busy by building Legos, watching TV, and doing a puzzle set. The owner is very sweet and kind and came over within minutes when we needed the chopper turned on for a second since the sewage line got clogged at one point (this cabin is on a hill so it happens no big deal). I had a blast staying here in a cute secluded cabin and felt safe and at peace the whole time. Each cabin has its own parking too so that wasn't an issue at all. The bed was alright, it felt like there was a metal bar in the middle so we just used one half of the bed mostly to avoid it. The couch was super comfy though and reclines on the ends. 10/10 cute cabin for couples with a good affordable price.

Cannot speak more highly of Mt Cotton Retreat. It's just the perfect setting with private cabins which are the perfect size. The bathroom was bigger than expected, and the whole cabin is extremely clean. The most beautiful secluded view of the forest creating a lovely tranquil feel. Just the perfect distance from the hustle and bustle of the roads and shops, but feels far enough away to relax. Thank you for making this the perfect stay that we need.

Room was nice with a beautiful outlook. Bed was comfortable. Complementary chocolate and port were appreciated. However, accessible powerpoints were in the main area, only in the bathroom. No tissues, only toilet paper. Small bin provided only in main bedroom space not in bathroom. Shower door did not close properly and water leaked everywhere, all over the floor. No spare towels were provided during our 2 night stay.

Walls were paper thin and noisy neighbours kept us up into early sunrise hours. A big fuss was made about keeping quiet, being considerate of other guest and the tranquility of the place, however, this was not monitored.

Our room was a non smoking room, however, a lot of cigarette smoke constantly wafted into our room anytime we were there.

It really is not a B & B. There is just some granola, 1 other cereal, biscuits, yoghurt and processed juice. Tea and coffee is instant. You do this all yourself in a shared kitchen space.

Parking was problematic. No designated parking spots for our room so we had to park in visitors parking where there weren’t enough parking spots. We ended up parking in another cabins parking spot which we felt bad about.

Worth noting where we were isn’t very accessible especially if wet weather.

What a lovely place to retreat from the cares and woes of life for a while.. seriously beautiful.. every inch of the place has magnificent views and the freshness is only surpassed by the efficiency of staff with the upkeep.. absolutely beautiful.

Lovely location. Priced well. Room was excellent and so peaceful in bush setting. Staff very helpful. Highly recommend. Much better than motel room.

Beautiful treetop cabin clean tidy . It was a lovely weekend nice and quite no noise cars or neighbours nice to wake up to the sound of the wildlife. Sue was very helpful. We love the peace and quiet l decided to book for Christmas. I recommend Mt cotton retreat if you're looking for a weekend away with your partner
