I don't know what happened in the last 7 months at this place, since the last raving review, but it's not gone down hill; it's fallen off a cliff.

I don't really get upset about this kind of stuff, but I feel like I was scammed. $27 for a frozen pizza warmed up. The scam was the fact that they kept the pizza oven on, but never used it once for pizza... They came from somewhere unseen in the back of house. They knew it was a bad look, but kept the oven on for show.

Four of us went to dinner, and we arrived at 6pm. There were about 3 other tables sat, so not busy. We ordered as quickly as we were served, about 15 minutes after sitting down. We ordered an arachini (3 pieces) and we were 4 people, we couldn't add a fourth aranchini because "the aranchini are ordered in batches, so we can't split them." Which I thought was odd. When they arrived, after a fair while, they were... Ok.

We then waited, and waited, and waited for mains. We were left waiting for an hour and 30 minutes for 3 pizzas, a side of chips, and an eggplant parmigiana. The chips sat on the pass for about 10 minutes, and arrived cold. They were good enough to heat them back up properly when we told them.

The pizzas themselves were... Awful. Dry. Bland. Tasteless. Nothing like the photos in other reviews. They were, what I expect, frozen pizzas from somewhere. For them to charge $27 for these pizzas, is shameless. The eggplant parmigiana was 'fine', I make it better at home (and it takes less time than being served here). I feel bad because the guy behind the pass seemed to be working hard to serve everyone, he even walked a couple of the delayed plates out himself.

So, the pizza was prepared, the aranchini, pre prepared, the chips 'okay, when warm', and the eggplant, average. The restaurant was understaffed, food took too long to get ordered, too long to come out, and too long to get served.

And that would be excusable. But not for $50 per person for a couple of drinks and awful food.

Id be ashamed to ask people to pay if I had worked the night that we were served.

There were a couple of people sat outside eating Red rooster from up the road. They had the best night of it.

Couldn’t fault this restaurant for anything. Awesome food - a menu that stand out, it was hard to choose just one entre, main and dessert. Friendly and efficient service. You’ll have a fantastic dining experience.

We went on a Friday night after seeing the rave reviews. Quite frankly a total disappointment after the very few date date nights we have. Stuck in the middle of a corridor (after making a reservation mind you) with people and the total lack of staff walking past. The service was terrible due to the fact no staff . Credit to the barman/waiter /supervisor who was clearly embarrassed . I watched our entrees on the pass for at least 15 minutes. We had two drinks in the two hours we were there. Shared entrees yet no offer of plates to put them on. Website suggests quite high end yet allow people in the restaurant in swimmers and a towel? That’s for the pool side I’m afraid. Main meal I had the gnocchi marinara and my partner the pork belly. Choice of sauce for pork belly was hollandaise , red wine or gravy from memory. My marinara sauce was good but unfortunately we will never go back here again which is a shame being locals

A Culinary Symphony at Mozzafiato at Elite - Unforgettable Experience!

It is not often that a dining experience transcends the mere act of eating and becomes a feast for all the senses, but Mozzafiato at Elite achieves just that. From the moment I walked through the door, I knew I was in for something extraordinary.

The entrée of Pork Belly & Scallops was sheer perfection. The pork belly was succulent and tender, expertly crisped to golden-brown. Accompanying it were scallops, so fresh they tasted like they’d just been plucked from the sea. A drizzle of chilli jam added a gentle kick, blending impeccably with the roasted pear puree and red wine jus. Every bite was a balance of texture and flavour, leaving me eagerly anticipating the next course.

And what a main course it was! The 200g Eye Fillet was cooked to perfection: juicy, tender and seared with precision. The vanilla celeriac puree was a revelation, adding a subtle sweetness that elevated the entire dish. The roasted baby carrots and whipped potato were ideal complements, and the red wine jus tied everything together in a rich, velvety bow. The plate was not merely food; it was a work of art.

Just when I thought things couldn’t get any better, the dessert arrived. The Crème Brûlée was absolutely divine. The top layer shattered like glass at the touch of the spoon, revealing a custard beneath that was silky, creamy, and perfectly set. The Chantilly cream was a cloud of sweetness, and the fresh berries brought a tangy note that balanced the richness of the dish. It was an absolutely fitting end to a sublime meal.

Let’s not forget the impeccable service, which was attentive without being intrusive. Every staff member we interacted with was pleasant and knowledgeable, contributing to an already delightful experience.

The price point of $65 for a three-course meal of this calibre is astonishing. One would easily expect to pay double for such gourmet offerings.

To put it succinctly, Mozzafiato at Elite is not just a restaurant; it’s a culinary experience that you owe it to yourself to try. I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment for anyone seeking a meal that’s as memorable as it is delicious.

What an absolute let down. Clearly understaffed, the floor staff ran off their feet trying to tend the bar, look after the tables and fend off frustrated customers. Long wait for service, over 15 mins before the drinks order, entrees and mains ( I will get to that) served with long delays in between. Food was bang average. Entrees were ok, the mains were an incredible let down. Despite having a fully lit pizza oven which wasn't used we were served 3 frozen pizzas which were not entirely cooked and were tastless. If we we wanted to eat frozen pizza I could have gone to Coles. Drive past this place if you are hungry and there are far better places that show passion for not only their business but their food.

What a hidden gem we found close to home. It was the perfect venue for our wedding anniversary. The food was amazing, service was amazing, the chef came out and introduced himself. This will be our new regular for special occasions.
