lovely farm stay, animals are cute and well taken care of. The guide Hannah was friendly, informative and great! Would recommend if you have kids or animal enthusiasts in your group. Buildings are old and you cant drink the water, and the showers are not great. Bed was comfy tho. Has a pool and a tennis court and free kayaks for the lake.

We did a day trip and it was absolutely incredible! It exceeded our expectations. We had planned to stay until around lunchtime but we were having so much fun we stayed till late afternoon.

We enjoyed all the activities, from tractor and pony rides to archery and canoeing. We even got to cook our own damper over the fire. Highly recommend for families and children!

We recently stayed 2 nights at Mowbray Park Farmstay and it was amazing! My kids loved interacting with the animals including Pearl and Archie, and all the farm activities from damper making to archery and canoeing. Hannah was great with the kids and they miss her already! The farm itself was rustic and beautiful, with so much space for the kids to run around and explore.

Wow what an incredible farmstay. It was better than we could have ever hoped for.
We stayed in the Alverna lodge as a family of 4. Our kids were so excited about the number of beds in the lodge and woke at 5am as they were so excited for the fun ahead.
Hannah made the whole experience 5*. She made it so much fun for us and the kids were thoroughly entertained the whole weekend because of her and the farm activities that were on offer.
The accommodation is old but completely fine for the purpose of a farm stay, the lodge was lovely and warm and the beds were super comfortable. The tractor parked right outside our lodge each morning to take us to the pony rides and nursery. My daughter Alannah loved when Hannah taught them how to howl like a dog, and they continued to howl together over the weekend.
We got to milk a cow and see a 2 day old calf and the kids loved catching the chickens and feeding the rabbits.
There is so much to do and we just had the freedom to walk around the farm and enjoy what was on offer. We got to do archery also which we all enjoyed, as well as cooking damper over the fire.
Highly recommend going here, it's just such a great place to create memories, we 've booked to go back in August already!

We have 4 kids in our group (2, 7, 9, 11) and we all had a wonderful time beyond our expectation. I tried to look somewhere close and found this is only about an hour from CBD!

So we stayed in the Couzins as recommended by Blair for our group, simple accomodation but we are here for the experience and what I love is the bbq right in front of our door and a fire pit too! so we open a picnic mat in front of the open fire while making s'mores. Many activities for the kids and they are fully immersed in all of the experiences even for my 2 years old and adults alike from tractor ride, feeding the animals, milking the cow, collecting the eggs, pony rides (will bring more carrots next time), throwing boomerang, roasting a damper, the canoe scenery is a highlight for me very peaceful, and the adults can not stop dueling over archery. The dogs are very lovely, the kids missed pearl already.

We were running out of food because its our first time for a farm stay, but hey coles and dominos is just 8mins away! Overall, I am sooo glad to find Mowbray Park Farm Stay, Huge THANK YOU to Blair and the staffs for the warm and wonderful service through out. Highly recommended!

We had a group of 10 adults and three kids aged 2,3 and 4 staying in Majellan Lodge for two nights. The accommodation worked well for our large group as we each had our own ensuite. Large lounge room, dining room and back deck with a bbq also suited us well. The farm activities were great and the kids were able to experience so much - feeding alpacas, donkeys, chickens, rabbits, collecting eggs, milking a cow, riding on a tractor, pony rides, cooking damper on a stick, cracking a whip and throwing a boomerang. Blair and Jacqui were so welcoming, friendly and informative as were Molly and Ella. They were all amazing with the kids and the kids didn’t want to go home! We also had a go at archery and took the canoes out. Lovely couple of days for a bunch of city slickers. Only an hour and a half from home was also very appealing. Would highly recommend.

We stayed 3 nights and 2 full days at Mowbray Park. We were in The Chapel (3 bedroom cottage) so we self catered. We thought this was the perfect amount of time to experience the farm.||We were looking for a farm stay that had some sort of structure to entertain our two children (nearly 3 years and nearly 5 years old). I don’t really understand the criticism of the previous reviewers as we loved that there was a schedule each day. You could be as involved as you wanted. It meant as parents we didn’t have to come up with a plan for the day - it was provided by the farming experts! Holidaying with small children isn’t exactly relaxing but if they are interested in what is going on around them, it makes it a lot easier for the adults. ||We also chose Mowbray Park as it wasn’t too far from Sydney so an easy drive. ||There was time to feed the animals, cow milking, demonstration of sheep shearing, feeding the cows, whip cracking and boomerang throwing, lots of tractor rides, pony rides, damper making and tea drinking. It was all very well organised and executed. ||Blair and Jacqui who run the farm were welcoming and friendly. All the staff we encountered were polite and friendly. We really enjoyed Blair’s talk about sheep shearing. His passion and knowledge for this topic were captivating. ||Our kids enjoyed playing with some of the other children who were staying at the farm. There is a small playground with equipment which was great for their age group. We also met some nice adults. There was no pressure to socialise but everyone was pretty friendly. ||The accommodation in The Chapel was basic but fine. It was clean and had everything we needed. Having said that, a vegetable peeler and microwave-proof bowl would have come in handy. Beds were comfortable and the cottage had enough space for a family of four. I can’t comment on the food apart from the communal morning teas provided which were delicious - home made muffins and Anzac biscuits. ||A great option for families wanting a holiday that keeps the kids entertained without being too far from Sydney. Recommended!

In August 2020, my husband and I visited the farm, and it was truly enchanting with alpacas, sheep, numerous horses, and a variety of animals. The place was impeccably clean and well-maintained. Fast forward to 2023, unfortunately, they've sold most of their animals, and the farm experience is not what it used to be. Our recent visit with family and kids left us disappointed, especially considering the $50 per person fee. I wanted my family to enjoy the same farm magic I experienced before, but it fell short. The website promised a lot of fun activities, but we didn't get to enjoy much. At that price, I'd rather opt for a zoo visit.
