Quite an average quality of food. Sourdough' taste is nothing extraordinary and doesn't resemble artisan type of bread. I did like their crumbled feta mixed with the herbs, that was lovely, Hollandaise sauce was fantastic (yet super expensive $3!), and coffee would be perfect if wasn't so sweet even with 1 sugar. I personally would love to see some more vegetables or ingredients added to this dish to enhance presentation and justify the price, - maybe pickled red onions, capers, fresh cucumber shavings or something within those lines... Just something is missing there.

And please don't smear smashed avo on the toast, it doesn't look appetizing. Just place it on top neatly with a spoon, I can spread it at home myself.

Sustainable packaging is definitely a winner for me, which wasn't the case here.

We dropped by here for breakfast after parkrun. The food was really tasty. The portions were good size and great price. The coffee (long black) was great. I think they .ake their own sour dough in-house. We all thoroughly enjoyed them.

So many people have recommended Mountview Cafe, so I popped in and got a salad and a coffee. The salad was delightful, fresh, and delicious—hallumi and avocado! 🥗☕️ I can definitely see why everyone loves this place!

My partner and I took his mum for brunch on Mother’s Day. While very busy, with the meals taking a little longer to come out, the food was scrumptious, well portioned and value for money. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable when questioned about certain items on the menu. Would 100% visit again

My girlfriend and I absolutely love coming to this café—it has quickly become one of our favorite spots! The staff always greet us with a smile, and the cozy ambiance is perfect for a relaxed meal or catching up with friends.

We have our go-to orders: my girlfriend always gets the Chicken Schnitzel, while I’m pretty much into the Avo Stack. The Chicken Schnitzel is perfectly seasoned, crispy, and never oily—just the way it should be! As for the Avo Stack, it’s a dream for avocado lovers like me. The portions are generous (you won’t leave hungry), and I’m all about the heaps of cheese and avocado that come with it. Pro tip: add some extra bacon—trust me, it’s a game changer! 😉

Pleasant experience, far exceeded my expectation.

🥘 Food - EVERYTHING WAS ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS
🍽️Special beef stew - The beef was super tender and flavoursome. Dipping the crunchy sourdough in the beef stew sauce brings me to food heaven.
🍽️Mountview Big Breakfast - everything was enjoyable and flawless.

🏔️A quick note just to let everyone knows there is no mountain view from the cafe - it is located in a shopping precinct. However, the experience of dining certainly has made my taste bud dancing and brought me to the mountain top!

Really can't say enough about our impromptu dinner here. 5 of us, quickly seated and treated attentively by the front staff. Food was exceptional ! Arrived all at the same time and all 5 different dishes perfect.
Fettuccine Carbonara is so on point !

A cafe which opens early and has lunch food! Coffee is Bear Bones and it is gooooooood. Service is friendly, cafe is located in a commercial strip which means parking is also a breeze. Definitely worth a trip there!
