Great cafe with an awesome view. We got a great table outside overlooking the Glasshouse Mountains. Although they were super busy with it being a Sunday, service was great and the lunch we had was so fresh.

We were visiting the glass house mountain in November, so not a peak period for tourists. We stumbled soon the mountain view cafe and it was by far the best cafe’s that is attached to a tourist location I’ve experienced. Thefood at first appeared to be expensive and I was a bit disheartened, then the first plate appeared and the food tasted delicious, the cafe was tasty and the whole meal was very enjoyable. We sat outside and had a perfect view of the glass house mountains in a very cool and relaxing environment.

I have visited this Cafe many times over the years. Coffee and dessert is always great, and the kids want me to take them there for the milkshakes everytime we venture to the hinterland. Hats off to the person who makes the desserts, our faves are the scones, caramel slice and the carrot cake has to be top 5 that I have ever had ! We always bring our interstate guests here for the views, ambience and food!

We arrived at 8am and sat outside for the stunning views. We had little birds visit us while we had coffee and breakfast. Breakfast menu was fairly standard but delicious. As recommended, we tried the scones, which were well worth the calories.
Prices were very reasonable. The service was great. Atmosphere relaxing.

I got the Vegie Big Breakfast - which was absolutely delicious ! - as well as a coffee and a freshly squeezed orange juice.

Service was fast given how busy the place seemed, and staff were friendly and attentive. It was a little too cold to sit outside but the view is still stunning from within, with the veranda overlooking the mountains.

Definitely recommend a visit if you're in the area!

The food was pretty good and ambience of the cafe was really nice. The location is amazing but what really spoiled it for us was the service by the staff. Some staff members were kind of smiling while many others looked really unhappy working at the Mountain View Cafe. The lady serving us at the counter (in the photo) honestly needs to learn about customer service skills - she was rude , arrogant and was so unhappy in her job. We won’t be back.
