Visited this delightful Cafe during a 25 minute coach stop. We explained that we were in a hurry and the manager was incredibly accommodating, giving us our cappuccinos in take away cups in case we needed to rush off. Also had a brilliant muffin.

Close to the local information centre, I would highly recommend this cafe. Lovely.

Genuinely one of the best BLTs I have ever had in my life. I don't think I properly understood the ratios you needed for a good BLT until I came here. Life changing. My friend had the curry and it rocked her world. Very generous serving for the price. Food is amazing here. The people were nice too.

We came to Mountain Mumma for brunch and this place was absolutely charming with the mismatched furnitures.

We were greeted by the same server whom we saw at T’s Restaurant a couple of nights ago which was a sense of familiarity.

Food wise, we ordered the Mumma’s Breakfast, Buddha Bowl and the Chicken Burger. I especially loved the Buddha Bowl because I could get all the fibre in one meal and I’ve not had something like this before.

I would like to try their selection of pizza on our next visit

Stopped in for a coffee while passing through town. The seats in the window were cozy and nice to watch the happenings of the town.
The coffee was not good. We ordered flat whites and there was barely any foam, it was far too watery/milky. Whoever is making the coffees really needs to complete a barista course because it was so far from what it should have been.

I ordered the spicy Biryani and it was delicious . Full of flavour and textures . I would order that again and again . My friend had the home made chicken burger and she was also impressed . And ! My coffee was perfect .

These guys do one if the best menu choices of pizza in the State
They also use quality ingredients and have a wonderful base - not too thick ir too thin
Fo yourself a favour when in the north of Tassie, stay over in Sheffield and go to this place
Just ons thing owners - when someone buts a bottle of wine traditionally that means saving on buying by the glass. i.e $9.5 a glass should be $38 max for the bottle.

We took a takeaway vegetarian pizza, it was really bad - the toppings, the sauce everything was as if it's uncooked. The only thing is that cheese on top was melted. But the toppings on pizza like zucchini, tomato slices, onions etc everything was totally raw. Not even an iota of char on it, it was as if it's freshly cut and put on pizza and served without baking.

I felt really sad to have such a bad experience given the cafe staff and everything looked really nice.

The inviting historic building has street appeal and you are instantly curious.

As you would expect from a popular tourist destination, we were greeted with friendly & polite service.

The coffee certainly hit the spot, which required us to sample an additional serving which verified a good drop. Obviously an ‘apple & custard muffin delight should be sampled at such times and provides the reassurance we will come back again.

The venue also offers a selection of local and alternative products as well as numerous artworks on display & for sale.

The venue was quiet whilst we were here but constant with walk ins. But something for staff to remember is that their conversations behind the counter can be overpowering which takes away from the ambience.

A common theme here in Sheffield is to order at the counter as the staff do not take orders at the tables, so remember to do that here so you don’t feel forgotten.

3.5 to 4 Stars here, 1 for the friendly service, 2 for good coffee (& muffin) and a little extra for a relaxing seat at the window watching the rest of the world pass us by…..
