We stayed in Mt. Christopherson for two nights during the September school holidays. We had our parents and our young kids with us. The location is absolutely amazing. The hospitality was beyond expectations and the venue was comfortable, clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated. We could not wish for better. Helen took us for a tour of the beautiful grounds in which our kids enjoyed the huge swing above the picturesque valley and the farm animals including some really big alpacas. The swimming pool is strategically located to allow its users to enjoy the stunning views. The location adjacent to the park offers the option of taking a nice walks to lookouts. Even the weather was perfect.||||We certainly plan to be back.||Ronny

I attended a yoga retreat here over the weekend and it was the perfect setting. Early morning yoga under the trees on the "croquet lawn", a dip in the pool before lunch, and walks to view the animals and explore the gardens, the lookout and surrounds. The views across the valley are sublime - the only sounds birdcalls and cattle. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and host Helen is charming and attentive without being obtrusive. I would love to return with my family.

I absolutely can not fault our stay at Mount Christopherson. We were a group of 8 women, work colleagues and friends, looking for a weekend away exploring the Dorrigo National Park. The retreat was breathtaking. From the comfortable accommodation, to the outstanding view, to the care taken to the gardens to make the surroundings peaceful and calm. It was beautiful and our whole group vows to return. Thank you so much Alan for your wonderful hospitality. The retreat was everything we imagined and so much more.

Can't believe this paradise exists so close to civilisation! A little pocket of rainforest and wildlife reserve in the mountains. Saltwater pool was delightful to cool off but the cosy fire looked so good we are planning a return visit in winter. We chose the self catering accommodation option which was very clean and comfortable with large balcony overlooking the mountains. When I had a flat battery in my car, Alan was so helpful, going out of his way to charge it for me. Mt Christopheron outshone any mountain retreat I have stayed at in Bali........and right at our back door (I confess to living in Coffs Harbour).

A group of 11 Port Macquarie camera club members stayed here for a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of Helen and Allan. The accommodation was comfortable, clean and well equipped and the large dining/lounge area at the annex end of the ground floor was ideal for a group to meet. There was plenty to photograph around the property including wonderful views, birds and farm animals and the short uphill walk to the lookout was especially good for sunrise.||The isolation made it special, but be well prepared if self catering. Local trips to Platypus Flat and Dorrigo National Park made for a perfect weekend away.

What makes this place stand out is the view and gorgeous gardens.||The accommodation is equipped with all the extras to make it homey, like a very well equipped kitchen, including a Coffee machine and plenty of coffee and real tea!||They have a number of DVD's which we enjoyed. If it's raining or fogged in just go down to the Dorrigo National Park and enjoy the fantastic rainforest. ||Loved our 4 day stay!

Absolutely gorgeous walk and lookouts. The chairs in the two lookout points are gorgeously positioned with nice touches throughout the walk. The labyrinth is very cool with a fantastic explanation of why it’s there and what it means. A truely special place that I can not wait to come back to.
