We stayed here last weekend, the weekend before Cyclone Alfred, for our annual family weekend.
It was fantastic. Such a nice place to stay with fantastic views of the passage and the tip of Bribie Island.
The units were fantastic and very clean.
Gardens and pool area were immaculate.
My family (3 separate units) will be back and we've rebooked for next year.

Room 201 we stayed in was filthy, smelt damp and very run down, the furniture was not only old, the sofa was absolutely filthy as was the rug and the dining table and chairs were falling apart, the beads were old and uncomfortable, the oven had a broken seal and I ended up burning my leg, there was hair in the wardrobe along with a snotty tissue, the fridge was dirty and all kitchen wear needed to be washed up before we could use them as old food was on cutlery ect, the door stop in the toilet was caked in dirt showing that this grime was not a one off bad clean but built up over a long time. When addressing this issue with the reception along with photographs to show her, her resolution was offering to come wipe the surfaces down 😧 and blaming the cleaning staff for being new and not having enough time to go check this work was being carried out to an exceptional standard ! This was a disappointment as my mum and dad were visiting from the uk and this was a little getaway treat I had arranged for them to enjoy, instead I actually felt embarrassed as I had visited this hotel a few times before and had found it to have been pleasant in the past, this will be my last visit unfortunately 👎🏻

We arrived for a wedding. The room was magnificent and the view to die for. My husband surprised us with this resort that was across the road from the beach. As a family of 5, we had the most wonderful time. Thank you to all the staff for keeping a wonderful resort open. Plus we even had a few visitors coming to say goodnight.

I have stayed in most of apartment buildings at Golden Beach over many years but this was the first here. I was very pleasantly surprised. The three bedroom apartment was the largest I have seen. The bathrooms, especially the ensuite was very big having a shower, separate toilet room and a spa. The beds were comfortable. The views were as expected; spectacular ocean and island vista that I know and love well. It is right on the beach across a very quiet road with clear water and very safe for the young ones. Even a very cool cafe on the property with great views of the water. Rebecca, the manager was very friendly, helpful and efficient. This will become my preferred holiday resort now.

Really good place to stay but beware of the need to carry your suitcases up 3 flights of stairs.

If you come and stay here, you will be very happy. Whilst the apartment we stayed in was "a little" dated, it did not detract from our holiday at all, and it was clean. Best of all, the management is amazing. We didn't have a coffee plunger and Rebecca got one for us. We needed a couple of light globes changed, and they were changed immediately. Great ventilation with flow through air, and we loved the size. We had a 3 bedroom apartment, but really needed a second TV in the main bedroom. Rebecca was going to try and organise one for this unit as the previous one had been stolen.

What a nice neat hotel that is just far enough away from the hustle & bustle, but far from lacking. Our room was spacious, set out nicely & more than ample for our weekend stay. Check in was a breeze, views are fantastic & just a nice spot to unwind & relax. Lots of people out & about walking & with pooches in tow, or in a couple of cases doing the towing, but it never feels overpopulated. There's a great Cafe right there on the corner, which provided us with Breakfast & coffees, which were excellent. We'll be back for sure.

Staying at Moorings while here for work. Have a great 3 bedroom unit on 3rd floor so easy stair access for me who does not like lifts. Beautiful grounds , good size unit for 6 adults or a family of 5 . Furnished in style but comfortable love that there are 2 good size comfortable lounges in living area, huge main bedroom with lots of storage space , well equiped kitchen the owners have really thought of everything. Walking distaance to local take aways, restaurant's, bottlecshop , bakety and local supermarket. Clean and great view from balcony . Certainly will try to come back again
