Interesting place. Just wanted overnight bed. Suited us perfectly. Could do with a gardener. Great location for travellers.

Nice clean, quiet comfortable rooms. Better off booking direct with Jim the proprietor, cheaper than going through Trivago etc. Friendly bloke. Let me keep my dog tied to the post outside my room. He even asked if I needed milk for my coffee in the morning. Will stay there again. Close enough to walk to most businesses in Innisfail.

Old fashioned rooms but great location
My adult daughter and her BF were accused of smoking in the rooms which was not the case.
Instead of speaking to the parents the manager was very rude and making accusations and called my 21 daughter and son-in-law liars and said he saw them on the cameras and he was watching our rooms.
We thought that was very inappropriate knowing we were being monitored.
Apart from that we were given discount.
We had a small dog which we disclosed to the manager and ensured he was going to be locked in the vehicle and the manager also commented to my daughter that if he knew before hand he wouldn't have let us stay.
He was nothing more than a Bully to my daughter and BF and instead of talking to them should of spoken to us the parents of his concerns.

Would highly recommend. Really close to facilities, comfortable, spacious rooms. Great price for this room, we have stayed in Innisfail many times in the past in motels dearer with less such as hair dryer, iron and ironing board.. etc.
this will be our go to when staying in Innisfail.

Friendly, extremely helpful owners and staff. Went out of their way to accommodate us. Will definitely stay here again. Had everything we could ever want in a motel.
Car park right outside door, clean rooms, door on the shower (none of those half door things that we have been seeing all over North Queensland that spill water out all over the bathroom floor). Everything we need to cook our own food, and close to shops if need to buy. Great size room too, with good size kitchen bins, sink and with very efficient air con.
Country relaxed style. Awesome value for money. Simple old style motel like they used to be, with great customer service.

Rating this 3 star motel with 3 star expectations and no more. As a 3 star motel, the accommodation met our expectations. The gentleman at reception was friendly and helpful. Our family room was large, spacious and had a well appointed kitchen. However, I would like to mention that there was hair on the bedsheet under my pillow.||||The motel looks a little dated. The garden, driveway and carpark needed some weeding.||||If you overlook these things, and just need a bed to tie you over until the morning so you can be on your way to your destination, then this motel will meet your needs.

We were upgraded to a family room. Incredible amount of space.
Have been used to many Aussie bathrooms not having a vent-fan, but this had classy old-school glass shutters a can of air freshener.
Almost a full kitchen! (no oven, but movable burners, microwave, spacious mini-fridge and counter, kitchen knives, cutting boards ...
Window screens on bathroom windows very caked with dust/grime, but getting at that can't be easy - it's certainly nowhere near average eye-level. Hopefully a seasonal project, though!

Minor complaints:

1) All but one of the outlets were on the kitchen wall, at the opposite end from the master bed. The other is several feet up and inside the bathroom, which a longish cord will reach, but only if you either unplug it every time the bathroom door's closed or just never close it completely (it's sliding anyway). Also could be rectified if you relocate the dining table & chairs - all beds are on rollers! Only the master is on the heavier side.

2) Air conditioner hums rather loudly - probably enough to keep more sensitive folks awake. In summer, of course, that might be a reasonable trade-off, as long as it keeps doing its job!
