Conjunctivitis!!! I'm not a person who writes reviews, ever! But I attended the day spa and although the experience was calming, during the facial the "beauty therapist" got part of the "homemade all natural" face mask in my eye and a little of one of the other products. My eye was irritated and red and over the next few hours I developed conjunctivitis.
After expressing my concern they refused to take responsibility for it and tried to convince me I had an allergic reaction. However offered to retrieve me the eye drops I required. The lady also mentioned "there was nothing I did that I couldn't have fixed if you told me". Which I just thought was a little silly, surely she could see the mask in my eye, it was well visible and I was certainly under the impression that rinsing my eyes of the "all natural" product would be enough.
I was not happy about paying $200 to contract a medical condition I have not experienced before. Not to mention the botchy paint job on my toenails.
Although the place looks quite lovely and clean, -regardless of the conjunctivitis- she was a lot older than any beauty therapists I have come across (not that I see this as an issue), however she could have used some more up to date training in her department.. If she ever actually had training.
Definitely one of the much less impressive spas I have been to. Would not recommend.
