This was our second time here and yet again we were very happy. Food was delicious; we had Smash Avo with bacon, Croffle Scrambled Eggs, a Soy Latte, and the Chocolate Frappe in a can. Everything was great, but I highly recommend the chocolate frappe in a can. The service was a bit slow, but this was expected as it was a busy Saturday morning, and staff were very helpful and apologetic. Overall, great experience and we will be back!

We love supporting local cafes, so it was Mitch and Antler’s turn this time. However, I didn’t check the menu beforehand and found it a bit disappointing for breakfast. They don’t offer the usual options like eggs Benedict or avocado toast. I assume this is because their menu is designed to run all day with versatile dishes, but as someone who doesn’t enjoy meat for breakfast, my choices were limited.

We ordered the smashed peas and ricotta pancakes. The smashed peas were just okay. The ricotta pancakes had a creative concept but were overly sweet—I couldn’t finish more than half.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend it for breakfast, but I might return to try their falafel. On the bright side, they had dog ice cream, which was adorable, and my dog absolutely loved it!

I really wanted to love the food but i have to say it was a wee bit disappointing. My "wagyu beef" korokke needed a microscope to find the meat. It was pretty much a potato croquette, which would be fine if there was any seasoning whatsoever or flavouring. It was just so very very bland. And the coating was very dry and overcrisped. No salt and pepper on the table, tho we did see someone go and ask for some. Hubby said his meal also lacked seasoning. He had the heirloom tomatoes dish, with black olives and manchego cheese. It all looked great, and the servings were generous but oh my, the food is crying out for salt and pepper and flavour. My coffee was fine, as was his pistachio white mocha. We loved the actual cafe building; loved there is plenty of parking, and the cafe is in such a nice spot. How lovely for the locals. Service was fine, friendly and prompt. Just please season your food, folks!

I’m so sorry to say we had a very average experience dining here today… the food was under seasoned and underwhelming. I’ve heard such great things about the innovative flavours this eatery promises, but the total experience was lacklustre. We thought booking in advance would have guaranteed us a table indoors given it was a cold day - unfortunately we were sat outside. Nothing stood out as terrible, but similarly nothing was great either.

What makes me keep coming back?
The Staff! Not only welcoming but remember my name and order.

Located in a quiet street so it’s a perfect location for that meeting or meal.
They change up the menu each season, which makes you want to come back to try the new creations!

Pros:
It's a nice space with a pretty outdoor setting. Fans (for summer) and heaters (for winter). The food was okay.

Cons:

Our coffees were cold, and at $7 for a 10oz soy cap (that was actually a flat white), it's getting extremely pricey. The frappe in a can is a nice novelty, but at $9 a pop it's harder to enjoy.

The food is okay, but the balance in the dishes is off. The artichokes were really great, but the dish is absolutely smothered in dill and suffers from a lack of texture. The french toast garnishes are rich and sweet, but the actual toast was a soggy, flavourless disappointment. The menu feels very overpriced.

The service was... unfriendly. But we got our orders in good time.

The fit out is cute, but unfortunately the tables and chairs are really uncomfortable and our tabletop was so loose it was difficult to eat from.

Super cute suburban coffee spot. Parking is very easy with lots of street parking nearby. Various options for all dietary requirements. Staff are friendly with prompt service.

This cafe is great and is located in the suburbs. Plenty of on street parking. The coffee was really good and the service was fantastic. They were really helpful on Mother’s Day to sort out our booking. The menu is interesting a more Spanish geared menu I had the Croque Madame which was really nice.
