I can't say more other than outstanding. Really good food and what we loved about this place is their open mic which featured different local artists. One thing that should be mentioned though is food management to tell the artists to speak out loud on the mic as it tends to get noisy especially if it's jam packed.

Oh and just a recommendation, Jalapeño Poppers would have been on point if there were ground meat with the cheese. Just saying 💁🏻‍♀️

Great music, ambience, food and service and a clean restaurant with clean toilets! The burgers are great. You can order separately via QR code, I’m pretty sure there was a card surcharge.

There are stairs to get in so it’s not very accessible, but for those who make it in it’s a perfect, dark little cozy spot that feels hidden away from the city lights. The decor is also cute/cheeky, fun for a date.

If you sit near the live music it will be difficult to hear conversation but honestly that’s always going to be the case with live music. I had a very difficult time holding a conversation here but the music was great.

Went there for lunch special. Burgers were delicious, value for money and place is very clean for a bar! It was pretty busy at lunch time. I'd come back for other menu items, this is your comfortable bar for a drink and good food.

The staff, amazing! Friendly, helpful and clearly happy to be here. Know how to make a cocktail, even the one you ask for, and don't make a fuss of it. Some of the best I've ever experienced in Brisbane, no joke. Atmosphere is brilliant with cracking music and a warm vibe. Amenities are clean and have paper towels to dry hands (W00t).
Now, onto the food.
The burger was really good, except for the bun. It's wasn't not nice (shh on my double negative, hear me out). Soft and moist, but really dense and heavy. Kind of like a KFC dinner roll. It made the meal much more filling than it looked.
Chips - aces. French fries with a coating that was cooked to perfection. And the jalapeno poppers.... Amazing (where's a cracking adjective you need it) . Different to what I have had before, but really effing good. Fresh, crunchy pepper with a filling that I can't quite put my finger on. It's a cut above the standard cream cheese. I want to say curry and cream cheese, but don't want to offend anyone (cue rubbish photo of bitten popper - note the yellow tinge). The chilli chutney it came with was good, but the poppers out classed it. I'll be back, fur sure. I mean, the daily specials! Wow. Just wow.

Great food, great jazz, craft beers and excellent service. The bar staff are super friendly and welcoming and the mocktails are great. Wide range of well chosen craft beers. Will try a cocktail next time.

The Lochlan Feng Trio are serving up really good jazz and great atmosphere, all the musicians are stand outs on their instruments, and all shine when given a chance to riff on the main theme of the song, especially keys and drums.

Good place for a chill or energetic Sunday night of jazz and food. Feels very La La Land.

Service and food was good. However, I booked dinner for a special occasion and expected live music but was disappointed when apparently the performers were a no show 🤷‍♀️.

Location was to find. Amazing burger feed & great service. We got the fried chicken burger & big D burger. Lots to choose from on the menu!

Would definitely recommend for an elevated pub meal. Will absolutely come back on my next Brissy visit.

Lively and loud bar, great for an occasion. Our group of 6 had heaps fun despite their QR code menu system being down so most of our orders hadn’t actually gone through properly and we waited a while. Staff offered a round of shots to compensate which was nice. The tempura cauliflower and jalapeno poppers were delicious and all the drinks were amazing. Props to staff for doing the best they could despite a hectic night with their ordering system down.
