Just fabulous experience of a rainforest. Visual and olfactory immersion. The walkway climbs 190 metres to the stunning waterfalls, with lovely viewing spots and plenty of seats along the way. Only at he very end re there steps, otherwise just slopes which at times means some moderate slopes that mean taking time or having a rest on a nearby seat. Wonderful range of people going up to the falls, from all different cultures, young groups, parents with children (pusher friendly) and older folk, and lovely interchanges and mutual encouragements. The magnificent environment seems to bring out friendliness! We enjoy a lot of different national park walkways, and this one is one of the top walks

The walk is quite serene. You will spot a lyrebird or two in the shrub if you are lucky. The waterfall at the end of the walk is wonderful with a great photo opportunity from the spacious viewing deck. The path is solid and fully built up, but be warned that it is steep in parts.

Good walk and waterfall, beautiful rainforest. Lyre bird track is closed for repairs and upgrade but the track to the waterfall is open. Note that this is mostly uphill to the falls and gets quite steep around the 3/4 mark but worth it. Maybe take stops along the way if challenged.

Decided to go for a hike with my daughter today, parking was easily accessible & cost $12 a car per entry.
Hike was quite challenging at times but we made it to the waterfall which was very beautiful.
We enjoyed nature at its best & would come back again for another hike soon!

It’s an adventure, but once you reach the end, it’s priceless — a beautiful waterfall.
Heads up: you can only look at the falls; you can’t walk through the water or go for a swim.
This is a tourist spot, and parking costs $12.

Minnamurra Rainforest Walk is an absolute gem on the NSW South Coast! From the moment you step onto the path, you're enveloped in truly lush, vibrant vegetation. It feels like stepping into another world, with towering trees, ancient ferns, and the rich sounds of the rainforest all around you.
The walking paths are incredibly well-maintained, making for an easy and enjoyable stroll, even for those with limited mobility (though some sections to the falls are steeper). The elevated boardwalks are fantastic for getting a close-up view of the canopy and the various creeks.
What really stands out is the descriptive signage throughout the walk. We learned so much about the unique flora and fauna, and it really enriched the experience. The informative visitor centre at the start is also excellent, with friendly staff who can provide helpful tips and more context about the rainforest. All day parking costs $12 and is fair for about 3 hours of quality time.
A truly worthwhile visit for nature lovers of all ages. We loved every minute of it!

A straightforward 1h15m round-trip loop with well-maintained paths – perfect for a quick nature fix. The souvenir shop has adorable local crafts (think rainforest-themed trinkets!). Wear long pants and check your legs periodically – leeches love the damp spots, but the lush greenery and peaceful vibes make it totally worthwhile!

Before you start walking, note the walk is quite steep. I really thought it would be a breezy/cosy nature walk. To my surprise the grade is quite steep for the first half of the walk. It makes seeing the water fall worth it though. If you are going to Jambaroo action park or are in the area, consider seeing a natural waterfall. The weather was so good that day there was even a small rainbow at the bottom of the waterfall.
