The Mingella Pub is a great stop off you need to come through and have a drinkie poo....feels like the middle of nowhere just at the Burdekin Dam turn off....On your way through to Charters from Townsville or the other way round its a great little stop by. If you ask Moama she will cook you a meal but this place is just a lovely outback hotel for stop off drink...you will enjoy this little quiet pub

This is a small pub with character but no beer on tap. They have a delicious Sunday lunch for $7.50. There was no shade in the hotel campground so I camped in the free public area next store. I paid to use the hotel facilities but was unable to use the power point in the shower area because it was live. Ouch!!! When I went to shower I got enough water to lather up then it stopped. Left me with a sticky feeling for the rest of the day. Got bitten by a cattle dog while walking down the street. The owner unapolegetically told me I got to close to his car.

Ivan was a great host full of great stories. The kids will get a kick at meeting the real Moana from the Disney movie. The food is great loved my stay at the pub.

Wonderful country pup with caravan parking out back. Friendly staff provide a healthy dinner with enough left over for lunch next day. All at a realistic price.
