AMAZING!!! Service, food, wine was all incredible. The restaurant itself is beautiful. We had a fabulous time. Almost all of the menu is already gluten free so it was wonderful to be able to enjoy the food without fear of cross contamination or mix ups. Think the only thing they changed was the bread, otherwise no substitutes!

Had a superb lunch at Mimosa today. The venue and ambience are really great in themselves. However the food is truly exquisite. The food is visually stunning. we savoured every mouthful, which was a revelation of flavour and texture. So so good. I have not eaten better anywhere. The wine pairing was great too. Highly highly recommend. Hats off to Mimosa.

No longer a vineyard, only a restaurant. There is no cellar door, no wine able to be purchased by the glass or bottle, no bar or option to have wine on site without committing to a full set menu. Despite being labelled a “winery” there is nothing growing on the “vineyard” anymore and the optional wine pairings are brought in from other estates.

EDIT: thank you for your reply, it would be worth having a chat with your front of house staff. As when we arrived, and politely enquired about wine tasting when passing through as we are staying in area, we were met VERY rudely and told it’s a booking only restaurant and no explanation was provided. It was a really unpleasant experience. If we treated politely we would have been interested in booking for dinner or lunch on another day.

A fantastic experience which took us on a wonderful experience of flavour, ingredients and eye watering presentation. Very committed to local producers. Excellent wine list. Views are amazing including of Gulaga. Staff are welcoming and helpful. Plenty of parking.

In early December 2023, we had another fantastic meal at Mimosa Vineyards. We love this place, the food is always excellent. The service is friendly. And we are never rushed through a meal, it is nicely paced and there is no push to get you out so the table can be used for more diners. The views are also stunning, looking over the vineyards and bush to Gulaga in the distance. We chose the three course meal, and the pork for the mains was a winner. I don't usually like pork but wanted to give it a go here because the chef is so fantastic. He served up a wonderful mixture of tastes on a succulent piece of pork. My family all tried a bit, and while their choices were also absolutely delicious, we all agreed that the pork topped it. They also served up a small birthday cake to our son. We had not asked for it or even said that it was his birthday, one of the staff remembered from last time we were there that we said that we would be back for his birthday. How great is that! We love this restaurant, the whole experience and always regret when it is finally time to go.

Myself and my partner dined last night and we were both impressed by all aspects of the experience. The standard of food was outstanding considering the price. We're both sweet tooth's so also enjoyed the two desserts and a sweet that were included in the set menu. The Duck was also a stand out but honestly, it was all amazing, we can't wait to go back

Highly recommend - as a person in service/tourism I have high standards but they were surpassed by our experience last Friday. We chose the wine pairing - the food and the wine were outstanding - the service as mentioned in other reviews was inobtrusive but diligent. Great explanations of food and wine by Trang. One of the chefs came out with some of the food and explained. I appreciated the local sourcing and sheer variety of the dishes. I am not a pork or seafood fan but all the dishes were fabulous and its changed my perspective!!
I'm not a big drinker either but after the wine pairing think it was serendipitous that we were staying at the Vineyard Cottage - an easy shamble down the hill from the restaurant!! Hope to come back some day...
