As a Fine Art Wedding Photographer, I absolutely loved shooting a garden wedding at Milton Resort and Spa. This venue is a hidden gem nestled in the picturesque Southern Highlands, exuding romantic charm at every turn. With crisp air and pristine blue skies, the atmosphere was simply enchanting. The stunning grounds, characterized by vibrant gardens and historic architecture, made for a visually captivating backdrop that perfectly complemented the couple’s love story.

My deluxe garden room provided a serene retreat, allowing me to truly immerse myself in the beauty surrounding me. Strolling through the beautifully manicured grounds, I couldn't help but feel inspired by the beautiful setting. The intimate pool room and inviting accommodations building added to the overall charm, creating a warm and welcoming vibe that made everyone feel at home.

Milton Resort and Spa isn’t just a venue; it’s a dream destination for weddings. The blend of historic elegance and natural beauty offers endless possibilities for capturing breathtaking moments. It’s no wonder that this location is one of my favorite spots in Bowral. Every wedding here feels like a fairy tale, and I’m truly grateful to have the opportunity to document such special days in this idyllic setting.

Under renovation. A wonderful staff to make our stay most pleasurable. The food is worth a visit alone - exceptional. The grounds are exquisite and kept in excellent order. Great indoor pool. Will be back. Luxury Escape package was exceptional value.

Loved our stay at Milton Park. Facilities are great, surrounds are beautiful with gardens birdlife etc. Lovely quiet accommodation nestled on the hill. Bed was so comfy. Had a meal in the bar which was so yummy. The breakfast buffet had plenty of variety for everyone. Michelle who serviced the breakfast was amazing. Friendly helpful and so good at her job. She and other lady had some pretty thankless guests at the time we were there but they handled their rudeness professionally. No need for guests to be demanding and rude. Owners should be happy to have staff like them. The high tea is a definite must if you stay at this accommodation. Well worth a stay if visiting Bowral

A beautiful Old Hotel with expansive superb garden's. Delicious food with presentation to match. Friendly, helpful staff. This property has so much to offer & they're currently refurbishing rooms which do need it.All eating & drinking areas are great though. They have a gorgeous indoor swimming pool . Bonus.
Our bed was extremely comfortable with good quality sheets. It just needs some TLC.

We booked for a Sunday night as a quick city escape as I had stayed here previously a couple of times. As mentioned in other posts, some of the rooms are in need of refurbishment (including the one we stayed in) apparently some of the rooms have already been updated though.
I cannot complain about the grounds, the gardens are lush and so well maintained.
If you are looking for a getaway within 90mins of Sydney’s cbd, Bowral is definitely the spot.

Attended Milton Park Hotel for a high tea- the location is beautiful, such lovely gardens well maintained. The hotel and restaurant had kept its old heritage character but was in need of some major renovations. Unfortunately the high tea was not as expected. The staff were absolutely lovely, I could not fault them but the high tea was definitely not 5 stars which went with the 5 star prices, the scones were good but that was about it. The sandwiches were Cold like they had been sitting in the fridge all day and night and the cakes seemed stored bought, hard and not fresh. I believe with a refurbishment to the hotel and decor and some love and care into the high tea it could be a magical experience.

Beautiful small hotel with some gorgeous spaces full of old world charm. Sadly is in need of a renovation which seems to be in the works in the near future. Great bones, big clean rooms, comfy bed, lovely outlook stunning gardens. Generous full hot breakfast included in the room rate. Had fun in the billiards room and strolling through the gorgeous gardens

The staff at Milton Park were very lovely. I attended a wedding and my bracelet snapped off. I told the reception when I checked out and they took my details. A few days later them called me to let me know a maintenance staff found the bracelet. They posted it to me quickly which I really appreciated. What lovely staff and beautiful scenery!
