If you like the sound of trucks all night this is the place for you. I clearly got the wrong side of the hotel to stay. Smack next to the highway. (We paid good money for the room). After driving all day all we wanted was a good night sleep. We didn’t get that at all. And to make things worse we had a 12hr drive the next day. I’ve stayed at Emerald plenty of times and will not be staying here again. The rooms were clean.

I was unable to make my booking due to being stuck in flash flooding coming from charters towers through to Emerald. When I spoke to Simon to see if there was anyway I could get a refund as I was unable to get through the roads from natural disaster and would need every cent I could get, he laughed at the fact I was stuck in the flash flooding and with children. I had no service to contact the lodge to make any changes and said he made his commission from the payment and refused to refund at least anything. The worst thing about Simon's poor costumer service was the fact he laughed at what was a potentially life threatening situation. Please do better Simon.

The room was adequate for my needs. Clean and comfortable. The one downer was the condescending attitude of the male behind the desk. Simple questions were answered like I should have known what the answer was. Short, terse responses. Avoid him altogether. Best wait til the wife is there.

I’ve had the pleasure of staying here a few times over the years travelling through Emerald. Rooms are always clean & tidy. Nice pool area. Staff is always friendly. Close to most things. Even buy a beer at a reasonable price. Keep up the good work

We booked an accessibility room for myself and my elderly mum in law in a wheelchair moving to come live with us. The was very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Staff very friendly and loved the carport that fitted our long loaded vehicle under cover in case it rained. We Had plenty of space. Excellent price value at $135/night for high quality.

Great price, clean neat and tidy. Kitchen had plenty of crockery and we could make ourselves a great meal for once. Particularly impressed with the dog friendliness of it. Little yards and dog bowls. Obviously dog people. Dog people are nice people 🙂
