What a fantastic venue. Great place to see a live performance. The audio was on point and the lighting was bang on. Not too long to wait for a drink either. Will revisit again.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Metropolis. I was asked to leave the venue without any explanation. The reason? I briefly rested my head on a friend’s shoulder with my eyes closed because I was tired — and somehow, the staff assumed I was on drugs. For the record, I don’t even smoke cigarettes, let alone use any substances.

The tall blonde security guy was incredibly rude and dismissive. He refused to listen to me or my friends, even though they clearly explained that I was simply exhausted and not under the influence of anything. His attitude was unprofessional and completely lacking in basic respect.

We were treated unfairly and made to feel unwelcome without cause. Neither I nor my friends will be returning. Very disappointing behavior from a place that should know how to treat its guests better.

Awesome gigs. Great for all sorts of bands. Plenty of bars, you can see the stage from almost anywhere, it's perfect \m/

Terrible experience with the security staff. My friends and I were kicked out of the club for no reason at all, and the bouncers were incredibly rude and unprofessional. No one could give us a proper explanation — they just acted with arrogance and zero communication skills.

It’s unacceptable to treat paying customers like this, especially when we had done nothing wrong. If this is how the venue handles its security, it shows a complete lack of professionalism and respect.

Definitely won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. Poor management and even worse attitude from the staff.😅👎

They kick you out for use the unisex toilet when they are signaged. Seems like a modality to reduce the capacity inside to sell more tickets and have a constant flow of people in the venue. The security are really aggressive also.

Was escorted out of the venue after using the unisex toilet. They accused me of using and being in the male toilets. I tried to explain that the toilet I used literally says unisex on the door, but they refused to listen. The female security officer started screaming at me which was highly unprofessional. Would definitely not recommend.

We came here to watch a concert last night and although the venue was great the sound was atrocious.. on the balcony at the back you could not hear the words. Very poor quality. Other than that it was good. Drink prices $11 for a stubby of Carlton Dry. Shame it was poured into a paper cup. Surely they could have done better..
