CAKE is an intense romp, i would say.

It's a story about being framed by influencers with an agenda, who don't care about what is true or just or good for all. They just care about drama, intentional misdirection, and the juicy story.

The crew have great energy and talent in gearing the audience heart into sympathy for ill fated Marie and her children while also asking...what part do You play in this? Recommended.

I've been to quite a few shows and performances here and I love it very much! I like the location in the West End, that it's literally underground and very intimate. The performances I've seen have been gloriously new, a bit weird, sometimes cringey, funny, heartbreaking, empowering, thought provoking, engaging.

Wooden building - rooms with spaces for dance classes and art exhibitions. Some rooms look great and others not so much. Came here for a few of these events.

The West Village is so convenient for a day date (spa + lunch) or a date night - we had a bite to eat, then stand-up comedy at Metro Arts for 1 hour and then a night cap cocktail in the area. Really recommend, made for such a good mid-week date night. So many dinner options in the area prior to the performance. The venue is a proper theatre on -1 level. The hour flew by. 2 support acts and the main comedian. Given Australia isn’t London or Broadway, seeing big world musicals here is only ever disappointing as it’s never the same quality - it’s instead this kind of grass root local left-off-centre stuff that is a lot more worth to see and relevant. This stand-up was super Aussie, super woke and thus very relevant and fun!

I produced a show at Metro Arts and I would like to thank the front and back of house teams for their professionalism and passion. Not only did they do a fantastic job but their quiet confidence ensured that the cast could relax and enjoy the day. I would highly recommend them from the perspective of both hirer and audience member. Five stars - if you’re looking for a hundred seat venue you can’t go wrong.

My friends and I attended the evening session. We enjoyed every moment. The performers were great and diverse. The interactive parts were also so much fun. I especially had a blast! This is an awesome event. 🥰🥳
