The food was standard, we ordered several dishes. The menu had quite a few Indian inspired dishes like the samosa and opened kebab. Pretty pricey for what they were like $28 for the open kebab and $24 for one samosa cut in half. But understandable that’s cafe restaurant prices and they have higher expenses etc. The customer service could be a bit more attentive, took us a while to catch anyone’s attention. Overall, it was decent but not rushing back soon.

Honestly one of the best breakfasts/ brunches I’ve had in my life (and this comes from a passionate brunch eater). Today I had the baked cauliflower dish and added bacon and I could’ve honestly licked the plate. So fresh, flavourful and just gorgeous. Dishes are a bit pricey I guess but you’re paying for a fabulous looking, delicious meal with so many flavours in one! The dishes aren’t on the menu of your average cafe! Most places I go to have some pastries and some brekky burgers. Not the case here at Method to Madness! I’m sure lower prices would bring more customers though, understandably. I come here as often as I can and I want to try everything on the menu. Staff is incredibly nice and helpful and the coffee is AMAZING as well. I’d give this place more than 5 stars if I could.

Food tastes great, speedy service.
But the price is just a bit too high for what you get in my opinion. Pictured is how the chicken tikka aloo tikki arrived, a dish which costs $26.5.

Barely any chicken, half the plate doesn’t even have any food. And it’s frustrating cos it tastes damn good, and with a drink could even be a fulfilling meal. But near $30 for it? Woof.

Fantastic service, very creative menu and some delicious food - coffee could be hotter.

This cafe is a real botanical vibe and the staff were welcoming and friendly. The food is quite tasty and offers some interesting twists on the favourites, like eggs benedict with soft shell crab.

The only reason it wasn't a slam dunk 5 stars from me was the coffee, which was definitely not hot enough. Our first order of coffee was lukewarm and when we ordered a second round, we ordered it hot and it still wasn't. Probably a result of putting the hot drink into a cold mug where it loses most of its warmth.

Absolutely sensational menu options. Staff were thorough and attentive. Would have given 5 stars for the atmosphere however it was difficult to hear each other as the acoustics was not great

Lovely cafe in Kenmore. I love the creativity of the menu, a combination of fusion and classics. Everything you want in a cafe. The place has character, and the service is good. I'm just concerned about the lack of air conditioning. We were sweating bullets during lunch. Not a major issue but would really elevate this place to 5 stars. Also the chips were a bit weak.

I’ve been coming to this cafe in for years now and I continue to be blown away by the quality of both their breakfast and dinner options. The breakfast menu always has a wide variety of options and everything I tried was delicious. But what really impressed me was their new dinner menu - it was just as impressive as the breakfast.

The staff are always friendly and attentive, making for a great overall experience. I highly recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a great meal in Kenmore or the Western Suburbs, worth the trip!
