Look the food is fine and I'm sure enough has been said about it. Solid work on the pesto. Decent thickness on the sourdough toast.

I thought I'd pop some photos and nice words up about the decor. Check out this quality dried flower arrangement and thoughtfully chosen avian depiction. It's the little things that matter sometimes.

From the moment I stepped into Messy Hen I loved it. Was greeted with an enthusiastic “hi” and served with one of the best coves around. So pleasant sitting under the shady tree lined street in gorgeous Seaside. Worth getting out of Noosa for a drive to experience some old school community feels 💖

Lovely place, with a park across the road. Coffee was excellent, perfectly balanced shot, nice milk texture. Pesto eggs were nice, with lovely cherry tomatoes and kale, plenty of pesto and bocconcini. Pancakes were not too sweet, the honeycomb and butterscotch were nicely balanced with the pear and icecream. Service was very helpful and prompt, and free sparkling water. Excellent, would recommend to anyone looking for a nice brunch!

My boyfriend and I discovered this little gem today and absolutely loved it! We had the smashed avo and a breakfast burger - both were delicious. The person serving us was very accommodating when I mentioned I didn’t want egg on my avo, offering an alternative instead of just plain avo on toast, which was really nice. Honestly, the food was amazing, and I’m so stoked we found this place! Thanks 🙂

Great small cafe and coffee shop hidden away in Seaview region of Marcoola.
Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent, fresh food.
TIP: Take a break here when walking the boardwalk from Mt. Coolum to the Marcoola SLSC: it's only 2 min walk from the beach.
Pics are of the berry smoothie and the pancakes.

Just had the most phenomenal burger at the Messy Hen. If you like In-N-Out burger in USA then I highly recommend you try the Classic Cheese Burger at the Messy Hen. Chips were thick cut with chicken salt and absolutely delicious. I'm already dreaming of my next one.

I’m always looking for innovative breakfasts and the prawn scramble was so yummy and $20. Lovely spot. Friendly staff. Puppy was welcome. So good forgot to take pics!

Great menu, very chill staff who are happy to accomodate for dietary needs. My only quibble is that my eggs were hard poached 🙃 but otherwise, everything was delicious. The decor was quite a blank canvas but didn't bother me coz I'm there for the food. This place is licensed so if you're after a pulled pork burger and want to wash it down with a cold one, this is your place.
