I passed this on this morning when going through the drive through. Looked at menu....just said "Coffee". Huh? Where's the menu of options. Sometimes it's good to know what other options there are...not just "coffee". Next, instead of small, medium, large etc it was all in ounces!! I'm 56, stuffed if I know what a coffee in ounces is. Is that a medium, is it a large? Plus with it being just "coffee" well that's good for the punters as it would seem a standard coffee is the same as one with "extras" ie like a mocha. The genius that came up with that and whomever approved it, well I shake my head as apparently a lot of people going through were making comment about it...and not positive comment. That said, coffee was good but not the size I wanted.

Went to the drive through for a quick coffee before shift at work - waited over 15 minutes for the car in front - I was 2 nd in line after placing my order - to get whatever they had ordered. It was ridiculous and made me late - why not ask people to park in the available waiting bay. My coffee was not as hot as it should be either. Not going back and will tell all my friends my story

With only short notice I was able to book a table of 15 for an after christening lunch/afternoon tea .
The staff presented the table beautifully and their platters were beautiful .
Fantastic customer service and lovely coffees/drinks provided also .
Thankyou for been so lovely and efficient .

Absolutely wonderful staff, the lady with the blue in her hair gave me the most beautiful service at the counter today, she even served my meal, I can't thankyou enough for the kindness I felt. Please send gratitude to the Chef for preparing the most delicious Big Breakfast I have ever had, everything on the plate is hot, just perfection I couldn't have asked more for. I can see the team here, it brings about such a safe and enjoyable experience to be a part of as a customer. I hope this can be celebrated as I feel this is such an important part of this cafe. The absolute highlight to my day, the highlight I absolutly needed. Thankyou☺️, I will be back again.

Just went through the drive through, this is my $9 savoury mince roll, and a luke warm (actually luke warm is an overstatement), meant to be hot chocolate. Won't be going back.

Generally good quality coffee and happy to wait the moderate wait times for the convenience.

However, the recent change to the drive-thru menu is frustrating. Fewer options for kids and/or fussy eaters. Drive-thru is a staple for busy parents with a car full of kids, now they've removed a basic toastie from the menu and I was advised I'd need to go inside to the cafe. Meanwhile, things like pasta or burgers are available in drive-thru. So the only alternatives in drive-thru for kids or fussy eaters is fruit toast or banana bread (ie. sugar). Please, please bring back the humble toastie to drive-thru!!

Had breakfast with my daughter yesterday at Merlo Russell Street Toowoomba. My coffee was burnt so they remade it. Her bacon was burnt which they acknowledged when they finally brought our breakfast out so they cooked her some more. I had vegetarian brushetta my favourite on Turkish bread. The Turkish bread was so stale hard I couldn't eat it. It hadn't been toasted it was just rock hard. Extremely disappointing & poor kitchen service which sadly reflects on the lovely counter staff.

Merlo have such great service in many of their retail stores in Brisbane. This store leaves a little to be desired with coffee's taking a very long time. Anyone that has been to one of the Merlo stores in Brisbane knows that they are very fast and have their systems down pat. The systems in this store are lacking.
