I order and pay for a large coffee everyday. They give muck up this order size quiet often for some reason, today was extra frustrating though. Today, the first time they "fixed" my order, they just filled up half my cup with foam, and the 2nd time they "fixed", just hot milk. Coffee was so weak I had to top it up with instant coffee when I got home (photo attached). The icing on the cake was the barista acting like I was the problem for her messing up the order and doing a poor job at trying to rectify it. I would have taken it back a third time today and asked for a refund if I had more time today.
I use to go here daily, but I won't be back after this. Super disappointing to repeatedly not get what you pay for here 😔

I paid for an iced chocolate and got a small glass full of strong chocolate essence and milk it was awful. Compared to my husbands large glass of iced coffee complete with ice cream. I thought it was a prank. Food went cold quickly.

I must say the crew are a bunch of arrogant & grumpy folks who completely lack every element of courtesy and customer service. Quite clearly they are there just to earn money and oblivious to customer experience. I am not sure whether it’s the pervasive culture or insensitive individuals working there. They are more engaged in chitchats rather than serving their customers at the least with a smile. I was waiting on the left queue to place my order behind the POS terminal and the guy completely ignored & started talking to his work mates.
Such a working culture is appalling and needs correction quickly.

Meet my sister here once a week and it is perfect coffee every time we come - staff are beyond delightful!

Lots of coffee size options, milk options, I Heart Brownies [delish], can buy their beans plus a lot of coffee accessories including keep cups.

This place is always busy and does a fabulous take away trade and pretty easy to see why, thanks as always. Best coffee in Coorparoo!

Freshly roasted coffee awaits you! This is a good spot to grab a Merlo coffee on the go, or drink it sitting in a spacious and covered outdoor area. This little shopping centre has free undercover parking above it.

Been buying my coffee here since it opened so quite a few years 10+. The coffee is always superb and Merlo remains our all time favourite. Last 2-3 times I have called into Merlo Coorparoo something has changed the vibe is just rushed, unfriendly and the staff seem more interested in chatting to each other. When the product is handed over it's like here ya go now leave so we can keep chatting. Thought it was a one off but sadly no its the new attitude apparently. Just spent over $100 on Plunger coffee and usually do every two weeks but might be time to go down the road to Bellissimo Coffee as that's superb as well & maybe they will at least smile and be a little bit friendly. Might be time for management to have a team meeting as some of your staff are uninterested in the customers who when I last looked pay the bills. It used to be so good 🙁 Luckily the coffee remains superb.

This is very good coffee and the numbers of customers who have ordered take-away confirms it. My favorite is a strong latte and I rarely do lattes. The coffee is Italian style darker and stronger anyway. The service is responsive, intelligent and friendly but you might wait a while when it's busy. Lots of seating inside and out.
