My mother and I stayed at the Meriton Suites, North Ryde. We had a friendly welcome. Our room||had a balloon, bottle of wine and a birthday card waiting for us. It was such a lovely detail and I felt truly touched. Our accommodation was spacious and very comfortable. We had the motorway nearby but could not hear any traffic noise. It is ideally located close to Macquarie Centre where we went to have breakfast. The reception staff were outstanding and very helpful. I loved the hot spa and the swimming pool. We found the parking to be very accessible and better than other places we have visited. I would stay there again.

This didn't really hit the mark for me. The thing they really need to change are the curtains in the bedroom. The bedroom curtains let way too much early morning light in, they need to be changed to block out blinds. It's not a quiet hotel. Beds are average only. Fire alarm went off while j was staying. Staff were friendly and professional. I liked the location, right across the road from the macquarie centre.

Immaculate spacious rooms, and great service. They are located few minutes walking distance from Macquarie Park which is very convenient for business trips but also to catch the metro.
The bed was comfortable and the shower was nice and warm with good pressure. There was plenty of space for me to set up. I'll definitely consider staying there again.

Although a lovely, clean and comfortable property there were some issues for us. ||First being the construction noise, completely out of the control of the hotel but to not have a warning about this upon booking or prior to check in is rather deceptive. ||Another issue we encountered was such terrible curtains. The curtains in our room didn’t even fit the entire window and were so thin light just streamed in. Along with our bed being extremely hard.. pillows were beautiful and soft though. ||We also couldn’t use our balcony due to being attacked by up to 5 cockatoos at a time each time we went out. ||We absolutely loved the comfort of the lounge and being able to stream our shows.

The rooms were modern and clean, and the price was great! The staff were super helpful and friendly, they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay.

Their staffs doesnt give me a sincere and positive vibe. They doesn’t endeavour to provide their guests with the best service. Rooms are big but dated. Cleaning are not performed on daily basis. They allocated an “accessible” room to me- the shower room is horrible and I nearly slipped more than 3 times- poor drainage. There is nearby construction and it starts from 7am Monday to Saturday. I believe there are better hotel choices

Disappointing Stay at Meriton Hotel Suites North Ryde

Hi there,

I'm reaching out to share some feedback about my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed with a few things that happened during my visit.

One incident that really stood out was when my girlfriend got stuck in the bathroom due to a faulty lock. We had to break the door down after a delayed response from room service, which was a bit concerning and could have been a serious issue for a solo guest.

After the lock incident, we weren't offered alternative accommodation, leaving us feeling exposed and inconvenienced in terms of privacy.

Furthermore, I would like to bring to your attention an additional concern regarding the customer service provided during my stay. Regrettably, I found the staff to be lacking in friendliness and responsiveness when we made requests. Their communication was marked by a condescending tone, which was off-putting and did not align with the level of professionalism expected in a hospitality setting.

I also noticed some cleanliness issues in the room, like hairs on the carpets, and the room was only cleaned twice during my 10-day stay, which wasn't up to the standard I expected.

Lastly, the construction work on the property was disruptive and should have been communicated to guests in advance to manage expectations better.

Highly recommend staying here. Rooms have everything you need. Kitchenette with full sized fridge and dishwasher. Great location if you are here for business around Macquarie Park but also good transport links to Sydney CBD. Macquarie Shopping Centre across the road. Numerous good food options within walking distance. Beats any AirBnB hands down plus cheaper than AirBnB.
