This is an older motel, so if you're particular about the interior and amenities, you may want to reconsider. However, it was quiet at night, making it easy to sleep, and the bed was comfortable. Hot water was available at all times, and they provided everything I needed. The location is great, within walking distance to the shopping center and many restaurants. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay.

We checked in a few days ago, reception staff are absolutely lovely, no problem at all with them. Our room is spacious and has a great view. Problems arose when I found out the fridge didn’t work. I reported it and in the time it took from when I reported it to when it was fixed my food had spoiled. We are in 25A and I love the balcony, it’s very big, also there’s a sense of quiet here, everything from outside seems silenced. The other problems are all I can hear are the person snoring very loudly next door, yucky stains on the sofa and chair and the telly isn’t very good. I must re-iterate that I think the managers onsite are lovely. They seem very accommodating, they can’t really help the loudness of the snoring next door. One other thing was I had to pull out the sofa bed and make it myself and ask for pillows, I’m surprised the staff didn’t do this but that maybe because they thought we’d sleep in the same bed. All in all not a bad experience but with a few tweaks it could be a lot better. We have had to use the blanket we brought on the sofa bed because there’s stains on the spare doona as well. Also, a visitor book in the room would be good, I looked around but there’s no folder with the breakfast menu, local places of interest, take away or other suggestions. Overall we did enjoy our stay tho.

I would have rated higher but the towel rack was held together with tape, there was insufficient cutlery, the inside of the kettle was filthy, the bathroom was dated apart from the tiles on the floor and there was only one spare pillow in a room that sleeps three ... oh and no tea towel. The room could have been a bit clearer there was rubbish under our bed that wasn't ours

On the plus side it is well priced, well located and the staff were friendly. We booked a room with a sofa bed and they changed it when it wasn't ready no issues.

Wouldn't rush back but wouldn't run away either, especially if your looking for something cheap and cheerful in a good location

I've stayed there several times before when it was under the Quality Inn chain. Now it is not. The room has no table to work from. Also, no closet to hang your clothes on. The restaurant is still not open. It is still within walking distance to Merimbula shops and restaurants.

When we walked into the room we noticed the bathroom was visibly unclean. The shower had not been cleaned, there was maybe 1/4 of a roll of toilet paper all ripped and tatty(none spare),it wasn't great walking into a room that felt unclean for $120 per night... chose not to use the shower given the state of it. The beside tables had sticky cup marks on them and had not been wiped down. The location is good to walk into town, but that's really the only positive.

I’ve stayed in this motel previously, when it was branded the ‘Comfort Inn’. This place has gone down hill since it’s changed ownership. There was no soap, shampoo etc in the bathroom, other than a used cake of soap in the shower.. The air conditioner was caked in black mould, there was random hair in the basin, the pillow was stained, and the bathroom had a weird smell of what I can only describe as ‘body odour’. The restaurant has closed down so there is no food or beverage options on sight. Sorry to say I won’t be back.

I checked in around 5pm then went out for some dinner etc. came back to the room. The hand basin wasn’t clean and either was the toilet as you will see from the photos. The bath mat etc didn’t look like that had been laundered either. It was to late in the night when l discovered this so couldn’t change rooms. Steer clear.

The room stunk, furniture was filthy. Cups and sauces were dirty. Extremely worn and dated, Awful. I forced myself to stay because I was very tired. Privacy and sound proofing between the rooms is also very poor. I really wish I'd just moved to somewhere else.
