Our sons wedding was at merewether surf house in november and my wife and i were hoping to get accommodation close by. Thankfully maz and greg were able to give us a room at their beautiful home (at fairly short notice) for the night of the wedding. Our room had everything we needed it was very clean and comfy, french doors opened out onto a patio and beautiful garden. The following morning we were treated to a lovely breakfast prepared by maz and greg in their kitchen. It was a short but wonderful stay and we would not hesitate to stay there again. I recommend this BnB as a great place to stay. We had a lovely time. The hosts are friendly and helpful and the accommodation is standout in a fabulous location. The bathroom is to die for and my partner said he had one of his all time great baths . Breakfasts were delicious. I have adopted Maz’s compote with my morning muesli (now need to try to recreate her puffed buckwheat and nuts). I hope to return.

I agree with all these positive comments; Maz and Greg are wonderful hosts and the location is perfect, just across the road from the beach, local pub and less than 10 minutes taxi into Newcastle. The rooms are lux and private and very good value for money with breakfast included. Highly recommended.

Absolutely stunning! Maz and Greg go were so welcoming, going above and beyond with all our needs taken care of. From homemade banana pancakes and lattes to luxury rooms and a beautiful nights sleep. Highly recommend and we will definitely enjoy back!

From the beginning Maz was very thoughtful and going out her way to meet our needs. The accommodation was beautiful,spacious, comfortable and well located.||Greg and Maz excelled in the kitchen and admirably rose to the challenge of our request for vegan breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble.

We were in Merewether for our daughter/granddaughters wedding. The accommodation was fantastic, the breakfasts were amazing and Maz and Greg were perfect hosts. We felt like we were leaving friends when it was time to leave. This will definitely be our choice of accommodation if we are fortunate enough to return.

Stayed with Maz and Greg for 3 days and had a wonderful stay! My sister and I stayed in Bedroom 1 and the place was very spacious and comfortable. Situated in a very quiet street a 5 minute walk from Merewether beach we had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Maz and Greg are wonderfully accommodating and the breakfast was healthy and delicious. Highly recommended!

Wow! A home away from home, treated like family. Maz & Greg (and Scout) are the most gracious hosts.
A superb location, just a minutes walk from the beach.
The Breakfast provided is absolutely Devine! Fresh, healthy and so delicious.
The most incredible customer service and such lovely people.
My business trip was a delight, all thanks to Maz, Greg and Scout.
I’ll be visiting again soon 😊
