For a hotel out in Bankstown it was beautiful! Our room was a grand king suite and we had corner windows. It's clean, friendly staff and the restaurants beneath are all lovely.
It was hard to get the front desk to answer the phone but apart from that, it was great.

Beautifully appointed apartment, close to all that Sydney has to offer.
The Light rail service is just around the corner which can take you to all the hot spots, Circular Quay, Darling Harbour, Central Railway, & so many other places. Walking distance to Darling Harbour too, if you are able. Loved our time in Sydney, thanks Meriton for your amazing 1 bdr Altitude Apartment with views of Darling Harbour & beyond. The balcony was just what you need to enjoy a few drinks after a busy day/night of sightseeing. This was my 2nd stay here & will most definitely be back again.

Parking a little difficult to find a space close to entry.
Greeted very well at reception.
Breakfast staff, while good, need to be alert to empty food containers and milk for coffee. A little less talk and more action would be nice to see.
No small plates for toast available till we asked.
On Check out - Male staff member said- "checking out?" I said "yes".
He said - " put you card in there"? I wasn't reminded to validate of card for parking exit. Had to go back and do that, which I did.
Then on exit my card, didn't work. While at the gate I buzzed through - no-one talked to me ... the gate just opened, and I was able to drive out. Pleased my car wasn't being stolen!!!
No other issues - That's enough!

Wonderful Stay!

From the moment we stepped out of the car park elevator, the heavenly fragrance set the tone for a fantastic stay. The hotel was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the pillows were like clouds. The shampoo and conditioner were divine—such a nice touch!

The staff were warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. As an ALL member, I saved a little on my booking, but I may need to reach a higher tier to enjoy more perks.

Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable experience—I’d definitely stay again!

Well located nearby train station. Room is ok for 3-star standard. Breakfast could have wider variety of choice. Hotel is a bit chaotic due to location within big entertainment center. Room safe run out of battery. Reception staff is very kind and helpful.

Amazing staff from front of house to catering team. Atmosphere is fantastic food choices were plentiful and the brewery wow inside a club . Rooms were super clean and the beds amazingly comfy for that well earned sleep.
Location central to everything with heaps of underground parking.

We were attending a function at the club and decided to stay overnight. The function was in a private part of the Italian section and was excellent. The rooms are a little tired but more than comfortable but the bathroom was a little small . The bed was great.

This factual review pertains to our stay in standard room 415 on the fourth floor. On the second day, my wife experienced coughing and sneezing; upon inspection, we discovered significant mold growth covering the air conditioning vent. Reporting this to the manager, we were informed that this was the responsibility of the maintenance cleaning service, not room service. I subsequently requested a room change due to the health risks posed by the mold. The receptionist offered alternative accommodations, which we accepted. Based on this experience, I do not recommend the Mercure Sydney Bankstown.
