The hotel was set in beautiful surroundings and the staff we're friendly and helpful.
The buffet breakfast in morning was lovely. Special thank you to Sarah for looking after our family and making sure the kids we're fed when it was busy
The restaurant is pricey but good food.
A great price for a great little break away.
Lots of nice places to visit near by too.

We originally booked the privilege room. Upon walking in we realised it was more of a room for an overnight stay rather than a weekend away. We spoke with Isaac at reception and asked if we can upgrade rooms? He thankfully had a lodge suite available for extra $$. Once we walked into the lodge suite we felt happy and relaxed. The room, bath, view, teas and coffees were all amazing. We were really able to switch off and relax which is what we wanted and needed badly. All staff were absolutely lovely and very helpful. My only suggestion would be to allocate a specific time for lodge suite guests to have their room made up. We did not want to be in the way of staff whilst they worked, nor did we want to be interrupted if we had a nap. It would also be nice to know when the fresh cups and tea would be refilled. Aside from that we had a great time and intend on returning!

Quiet, friendly and tranquil.
A place to unwind and relax.
The staff at the restaurant were welcoming - however I felt they weren’t listening and often forgot to bring with our orders what we asked and had to be reminded, meals were delicious but overpriced for portion size.
The deck outside could use some TLC, furniture is peeling and deck warping the vibe doesn’t match the veiws.
Pool area was lacklustre, some extra sunbeds and umbrellas , nice plants and tables could make the area more inviting.

I think perhaps because we booked through Groupon we got the 'cheap room'. The bed was terrible and the aircon wasn't clean. The bed was all collapsed (clearly been slept on many, many ... too many times and must be due to be replaced) and the aircon was full of dust. Everything else was fantastic. The additional extras, the breakfast, dinner, wine, fruit platter etc. were fantastic. Booking, check-in and check-out were super easy and the staff were amazing. We have stayed before, and we had an amazing room, comfortable bed and had a fantastic stay. This time, the bed pretty much did us in given we have back and knee issues.

I chose this hotel because I looked at the photos of the room and thought the view of the mountains was wonderful. Unfortunately, when we got there, our room didn't have a nice view and it was in front of the highway. I kept waking up to the noise of vehicles and motorcycles. The best thing about the hotel is the people who work there, they are very kind and do a wonderful job. The restaurant is also wonderful.

Attended a wedding and the staff were very helpful. The location is amazing and the views are worth the trip and created a great back drop for wedding photos. We had a good hit of tennis on the morning of as well which was fun and a dip in the pool. The restaurant food was delicious and the kids looked forward to the buffet breakfast each morning. Loved it all

We had a large booking for nearly 20 people which we made like 5 months ago. The dinner was booked for 6:30pm, they took ages to take our orders. It was 3 course meal so each meal took at least 45 minutes to come to our table. From 7 pm to nearly 10 pm we were at the table waiting for dessert. Extremely slow with the food and at some point I felt so anxious that I had to leave the table to go and take a break from so much waiting. It was making me feel tired and we wasted so much time that we could have used with our friends while waiting for these meals.
The good thing is that the staff was very friendly and the steak was really good. The chicken wasn’t good at all, it was dry and cold.
The receptionist that greet us all at check in, a female in her mid 40s I would say, was very rude too and I felt very uncomfortable trying to check in with her. The other young ladies at reception were very nice and kind .
Place in general was great, we had a great time and breakfast was delicious.
The spa Was THE BEST! Highly recommend

We stayed in the lodge suite for New years eve. It was a bit of a let down for how much we spent and considering it's meant to be the best room at the lodge. The views are not the best from the room and the deck was a bit gross and needs some attending to. Actually all the decks, tables and railings need attending to. It's definitely gone down hill a bit over the last few years. Probably won't be staying again.
