So pleased we stayed here. The view of the lake and sunsets were amazing. The facilities are old but looked after. The caretakers were wonderful, they let us chose a site and let us early. I think it’s a work I progress. Don’t let the dusty sites and some negative reviews put you off. You’ll love it

Beautiful Sunsets over the lake. One of the highlights of our Darling River run. Although old the facilities are well maintained and the caretakers were wonderful, they let us choose a site and let us in early, which was a bonus. Birds life and night skies awesome.

Did not feel welcome at all. There is a brand new reception building. It’s a pity they didn’t spend some of the money on upgrading the facilities. Campsites were dust bowls full of three corner jacks which were so damn painful. Fires could only be lit in drums which are not provided. This place could be so much better. Boom gate made us feel like we were going into a detention centre - just unnecessary in the middle of nowhere. Camp kitchen would have been great. The only positive - the sunset views

Being upgraded. Facilities old but spotless. Caretaker extremely friendly and helpful. Mostly dirt sites. Tiered
No potable water. Showers hot and good pressure.. Power hookup but only 24 watts incoming. Runs everything OK but took 24 hrs to recharge our house battery. $35 per night. Nearest dump point in Menindee 6km away.

Park is in a beautiful location above the lake. Sunsets are amazing across the water. Has an abundance or bird life.
Park is a work in progress. Managers Sue and Colin are working hard to improve the standard of the sites and amenities. Definitely worth a visit.

We had no booking and after being turned away from another caravan park due to no vacancy the owner found us a spot to park for the night that they do not normally rent. So very grateful as it was awesome. Clean facilities,quiet,beautiful views of the lake,and the most amazing sunset. Definitely a must to stay here.

A great caravan park right on the Menindee lake that has the best sunsets every night across the lake. The managers Colin and Sue keep the facilities very clean and are very helpful with knowledge when you want to explore the local area. Great coffee and food in the Red Sands Cafe 5km away in town.
