We celebrate our anniversary at Melrose and it was fantastic. The food was unbelievably good. We order the secret banquet, where you just trust the chefs to cook their special for you. They took amazing care of us and even gave us a desert with a candle to celebrate the special occasion. Highly recommend it! Staff was super kind.

Each dish was a masterclass in balance—cleverly composed, confidently plated, and bursting with harmony. Whether it was a small bite, a shared plate, or a hearty main, nothing felt out of place. Every element served a purpose, every ingredient sang its note in a symphony of flavor. It was as if the chefs weren’t mere mortals, but angels disguised in aprons—infusing soul, rhythm, and sensory poetry into each recipe.

The dessert? A finale worthy of standing ovation. Subtle, sophisticated, and deeply satisfying—sweetness with thought, not just sugar.

This is not just Asian fusion done well; it’s a culinary story written with soul. Brisbane is lucky to have it.

I wouldn't give 5 stars easily, not to mention all 5s! But this one deserves it all.

Wow!! Amazing service, delicious food and great atmosphere. Chargrilled Octopus with orange is beautiful combo and the lemongrass chicken is just bursting with flavours. Beef cheek Massaman was cooked to perfection and the meat so so juicy and tender. Top top it off the coconut Mango sago was so fresh and a great way to finish our dinner. This was just enough for 2 people. Will have to visit a few times to try everything on the menu.

My friend and I came for lunch on Saturday 26 April for her birthday lunch. I would like to express my appreciation to you and all your staff. We did book a high table and went into the other low seated room (not an issue at all, as we loved watching the kitchen working away with such care and passion). We were attended to very promptly and once again (I have been before for my birthday) service was absolutely incredible. I have never in my life been to a restaurant with the level of service, care and kindness like I have at your restaurant. Your staff - service, management and kitchen are amazingly consistently and out of this world! They are truely dedicated to providing a 5 star experience.

They ended our beautiful lunch with giving my friend a beautiful desert, candles and sparkler for her birthday! Which was absolutely beautiful! So thoughtful and special.

I want to thank you to you all again! Honestly, the best!

An Unforgettable Pan-Asian Culinary Journey – Worthy of a Michelin Star

Hands down, the best pan-Asian dining experience I’ve had in Brisbane. Every dish was a masterpiece, transporting me to different corners of Asia with each bite.

We began with the Oysters and Scallops on Betel Leaf—fresh, vibrant, and bursting with flavour. The Beef Marrow Rendang, paired with sourdough, was rich, aromatic, and melt-in-your-mouth divine. For mains, the Barramundi Curry was perfectly balanced, while the Pork Knuckle impressed with its crispy skin and tender meat.

Dessert was just as exceptional—the Sticky Jackfruit Pudding was a sweet, fragrant delight, and the Affogato provided the ideal creamy finish.

Having dined at Michelin-starred restaurants before, I can confidently say this place deserves its own star. The service was impeccable—attentive yet warm, with staff who made us feel right at home. The atmosphere? Light, inviting, and effortlessly chic.

A must-visit for anyone who appreciates bold flavours, creativity, and an unforgettable dining experience.

Went there for a birthday lunch and it was very enjoyable. The Urban Valley Mushroom Sigi & Wok Fried Sticky Eggplant were so delicious. Beef Cheek Massaman, & Pork Knuckle were pretty dam good too. Nice treat at the end with a candle in ice cream for the birthday girl. Staff were very friendly and attentive.
