So good to finally have a decent contender for an all day eatery in the area.

Espresso On Dover was an institution under Robbie which never recovered after he left. The new rebranded cafe and new owners seem to have struck the right note and it feels welcoming with a decent menu. I hope they do expend the menu with time to show off what they can do but for now I am happy to support them as they are!

I got the classic pancakes and they where fantastic! Heaps of fruit ice cream and cream! They where as delicious as they look! The staff where incredibly nice aswell! The overall atmosphere was splendid with plants and a lovely painting on the walls. I would 100% recommend!

I used to come here in the 90s and early 2000s when it was 'Espresso on Dover'. After that establishment closed, this prime corner spot languished for years. However Mea & Ame, which opened 10 weeks ago, has a real shot to turn that around!
The menu has a good variety with Aussie classics and South African influences (incl. Borewors and Challah). The food is good and the coffee great value, with the $5 large actually being a large (+ stieva sweetener as an option) and expertly made.
Finally, had a nice chat with the owner afterwards, he's a terrific fellow and I wish him and this place every success!

The food was REALLY good with the perfect portions and pricing. Not allowing your dog to sit inside was a bummer because of all dogs are on outer tables, it gets chaotic and bark-ey. Understandable that bigger dogs inside could be a space issue but at least for smaller dogs it would've been better. Loved the music, ambience and the super-friendly staff!

Lovely cafe in Rose Bay. Great food, nice wine, and excellent service. We shared a BLAT and chips, both delicious. Mine became a bit reconstructed!!
