I enjoyed my stay at the Mayfair Apartments. They're a terrific alternative to a hotel room in Traralgon.||||The location is okay without being brilliant. It's quite a hike into the main part of town, but the apartments are in a reasonably quiet street. There's a service station that sells milk/bread/supplies within an easy walk.||||The cottages are nice enough but showing signs of age. The layout of our cottage was a bit weird - with the back door leading directly into the bathroom. When coming in through the back door, we had to hope there was no-one using the facilities and had forgotten to lock the door!! Some of the internal sliding doors were a little difficult to use, due to wear and tear.||||The furnishings were very good, and the kitchen was very well equipped. ||||In all, we would definitely consider staying here again. The cottages have a pleasant 'holiday house' feel to them - and the staff we had contact with were polite, diligent and accommodating.

We stayed at Mayfair (how excited am I to say that!) in June 2017. The cabins are comfortable, well-equipped and homely. We were in cabin 2 (Rose Cottage) and it provided everything we needed. It's probably bigger than some Melbourne flats!||||Nice features:||Full sized fridge with freezer.||Undercover, off-street parking||The heater was on when we arrived at 9:30pm (thank you)||Linen provided for all beds.||Quiet location||Clean and well-maintained throughout.||||What was missing?||No wi-fi, either free or paid.||The hot water service is small, so be prepared for a sudden surprise if you like long showers.||||The cabins are very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again, and would recommend the cabins to others.

Had to go down to Traralgon for an important appointment. Travelled with another family member, requiring a bedroom each. Rang ahead to find out about the property. ||Apartments 1 & 2 (the cheaper ones) have the toilet within the bathroom, whereas apartments 3 & 4 (at back of property) are the more expensive - they have a separate toilet from the main bathroom with spa. Plus king beds in the main bedrooms. We got there easy - only issue having to call numerous times to get the code to pick up keys. The line was going to voicemail, eventually got through - retrieved key easy enough. Good facilites, fully self contained. Could do with a bit of an update - newer toilet, update couches etc.. but generally good. We had to extend one more night at the last minute, which ended up being great, as we had the whole property to ourselves - the 3 other apartments all vacated on the same day and it was a nice quiet sleep for our last night. I would stay again.

We stopped overnight at Traralgon recently, and booked the Mayfair Serviced apartments as we did not want to be on the main road. We found our stay there to be very comfortable and suitable as we were a group of three adults.||We appreciated the fact that the apartments were not on the highway, as it provided us with a quiet location. The beds were comfortable, and the quality of the linen and towels were excellent. I liked also having a veranda and a spacious living/kitchen area.||There were only two things that I think could be improved. We noticed the oven was very dirty, and as we had croissants we wanted to heat up for breakfast, the built up grease was off putting. The other aspect was the bathroom. The bathroom is a multi purpose room (laundry, shower and toilet) that can be entered from the outside driveway and verandah. It therefore lacked privacy, though it was clean. ||Outside of those two features, everything else was very good indeed.

We booked a cottage at the Mayfair serviced apartments via wotif 10 mins prior to checkin and things could not have run more smoothly.||We were in town for my father's funeral and after an extremely stressful and tiring week, the return drive to Melbourne seemed overwhelming, so we decided to stay the night and show the kids where I grew up.||Almost immediately after booking online, we received a phone call with checkin instructions for key collection (very simple and straight forward) and upon arrival, were pleasantly surprised by the facilities. Although looking slightly dated decor wise, it was very comfortable and homely - just what we needed to unwind and escape from our stressful week.||We found the beds perfectly comfy and enjoyed the best nights sleep that we had experienced in over a week. Another unexpected bonus was the roomy spa which also helped us to unwind and destress.||The apartments are well located close the the town centre, supermarkets, fast food and any other services you may need during your stay.||The full sized kitchen had all of the amenities required for a short or extended stay. Laundry facilities are also available, which gave me a chance to catch up on a couple of loads rather than returning home with a suitcase full of washing.||Thank you for a pleasant and restful stay.

We booked Mayfair Serviced apartments with wotif for my parents to stay at for the night as they were visiting to attend a family function. It was clean and comfortable in a good location and had all that they needed. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. Even though they're on a main road there is very little traffic noise. I'd recommend to others.

We stayed @ the Mayfair serviced apartments for one night this past week whilst in town for a concert. The place was fairly easy to find, though we arrived at night and it was only due to finding the place via Google Street view before the trip that I was able to spot it, as it was not particularly well lit. ||||Upon pulling up to our apartment I had to find the key box, I found it very convenient that there was no need to check in – this meant I could arrive at any time I liked without worrying about office hours. The key box on my apartment (number 2) was a bit tricky to find as it was beside the back door, requiring me to open the back gate – but the back light came on automatically which was very convenient. ||||The apartment itself is very nicely appointed and quite spacious - it has a large TV, dining table, a couple of couches and reverse cycle air conditioning which did a reasonable job of warming the apartment on a cold night. It has everything you might need for an extended stay - dishwasher, oven, cutlery, fridge etc. I stayed in the main bedroom and the bed was fine – if a little soft, might be too soft for those folks who prefer a harder mattress. The apartments are on a main street, but that said it was very quiet at night with very little traffic.||||Complaints - we had very few. It had been a late night and it was frustrating to have someone mowing the lawn outside the apartment @ 9am. It was also somewhat frustrating to have someone knocking on the back door @ 10 am asking us what time we were leaving (our confirmation said check out was 11am). Despite these minor annoyances I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Mayfair serviced apartments to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Traralgon.

We stayed with friends for an event in Traralgon, called ahead to get the code for the keybox, and had a perfectly comfortable stay. There a few signs of age in the unit, older fittings, but everything works and the beds are extremely comfortable. Unit 4 is surprisingly large in size, plenty of room for a group to get ready together, and everything was clean and tidy.
