We stayed at Illowra House, Maya Sanctuary for my parents' 60th wedding anniversary, including three generations of our family. We honestly couldn't have had a better location. All the bedrooms have ensuites, and there's plenty of room for people to gather together, or to get some space if they need it. Incredibly well-equipped kitchen, and a dining table that easily fit all 12 of us, making the celebration perfect. The details are impeccable – crisp, cotton sheets and fluffy, white towels; the spa heated up ready for us to use straight away; a fire ready to light in the back yard with a view over the valley. We really didn't want to leave, and are already dreaming of booking the Artist's Lodge for a quieter getaway soon.

Best get away spot we know of. Been here twice and will be back many many more times. Cabins are always clean and tidy and has always been a pleasant and peaceful stay. Love the fire place and the spa outside. Best to experience in the middle of winter. Nature is beautiful with many trails to walk along. Not too far from town either. Julian has always been great to deal with. All in all, one of the best places we have ever stayed at.

The most beautiful clean , well equipped, warm cozy romantic cabins. The property and surroundings are spectacular. We didn’t want to leave. So relaxing .Julian was very accommodating and easily to communicate with. The spa was at the perfect temperature, linens were 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Will definitely go back next winter.

Great experience! Nice and quiet. Great place to escape the hustle of city life. The property is very quirky and cosy. The property offers great bush walks and special views. Julian and the staff were great and very accommodating at short notice. Definitely a place to visit next time you’re in the Blue Mountains… we are definitely looking at coming back.

This place was gorgeous, rustic but glam all at the same time. Star lit skies at night are amazing in the spa with a glass of wine. Lit a fire and cozied up with my love to a movie after a long soak in the star lit jacuzzi. I loved the seclusion and no city lights, sounds of nature is all you hear and see.

Had a great few days stay at Maya Sanctuary in the Amore cottage. Nice and peaceful stay away from towns, make sure you come prepared with food and supplies if you choose to stay on the property.
Cottage was nice and very clean, very simple set up for what you really need.
Julian was great and attended to all enquires very quickly. Would recommend Maya Sanctuary to anyone who wants time away in a very quiet location and away from the city.
