Like so many others, I used to absolutely love Max Brenner. The staff they currently have are so rude & the quality of the food is pretty ordinary for the prices. Everything is either cold or lukewarm. Any second hand store would reject the furniture. The manager does not believe in serving anything hot, or toasting anything properly, nor does he care if you bring anything to his attention. It’s just a shame that the store is now like this.

What a disappointment ? there was plenty of staff standing around chatting and three people already dining in.The girl taking our order looked miserable and was not friendly at all. We ordered three single serves of the Tutti Frutti and two bottles of water total cost $81.87. We were directed to take a seat and they would bring the waffles to the table. Unfortunately we could not find a clean table or a clean non damaged chair/booth, the dust sitting on the light fittings was terrible. The waffles were definitely nothing to brag about. I am shocked that they have no standards and the owners and staff are clearly okay with allowing the customers to sit in this filth and charge a hefty amount to do so. I would avoid this place ?

Very disappointed, I used to love Max Brenner but after last experience I won’t be back to the Tuggerah one. The tables are dirty from previous customers, nobody cares if new customers have a clean or dirty table, so if you choose to stay you have to handle that your table won’t be clean. Will be just disgusting for the whole time you spend there. We have been advised the waiting time is 20 minutes but after half an hour still didn’t get the order, when we finally get it well it doesn’t look like the one we had in the past and you are not able to eat bananas you paid for hahah-it’s a joke plus girls who work there share their opinions how much they hate school holidays very loudly. Well, Not the place we remember.

The guy at the counter insisted we order from the QR codes on the table, wasn’t interested in serving us at the counter. It took 31 mins for our order to come out, 2 coffees and a banana split. The restaurant was at 20% capacity and it seemed the waiters didn’t know what orders were going to what table. The cup wasn’t full and lacking froth. Won’t be back in a hurry for the price you pay.

They finally renovated this place and made it look a little more appealing to eat in. Took my son for his birthday on his request he wanted Mac Brenner. Same food on point and quick.

Coffee is good but the whole place is filthy !! Food on the ground, all the surfaces are dirty and have a layer of old food and sticky old coffee. I even got a dirty spoon to stir my coffee. A lot of staff but none are cleaning

Heads up, to the management of Tuggerah store, I've been to this store 6 time in the last 4 weeks, QUESTION !! Why are the tables filthy , sticky, while 2 staff members stand around talking and the place is empty Sticky tables, chocolate drips on tables, cup& plates left on tables when I walk in , I stayed for 30 minutes had a coffee and chocolate cake, when I left the tables still had dirty cups and plates on them.
Seriously if you want customers clean the dirty tables so we have somewhere clean to sit.

Brought my mum here for a walk on a rainy day. Had a cinnamon scroll with coffee and tea. Mum was thrilled. Staff were super. Even remade drinks because mum needed an urgent toilet break. Such great service was a welcome rarity. Well done.
