I went to Sing (Voluntarily) there. Mostly elderly people. They got up and left as soon as they’d finished their free meal. A good place for people in need, but a singer is not required. Just the food, which is fine. Parking impossible. All carparks outside the venue are ‘5 mins’ only. As ALL parking in Hobart city is PAID a Multi Story carpark, then walk is the best option

A lovely haven in the city, be it for scones with jam and cream for 2.50 or a full lunch for under 10. Highly recommend for over 50s looking for a rest and revive space in the City. Supported by Hobart City Council and the staff and wonderful volunteers at Mathers House.

Great venue. We used the centre for a church conference in December and was really fantastic. The only thing is that the street is not accessible on Sundays because it's used for local market.

It's a great meeting place where culturally and linguistically diverse community groups, meet with Federal, State and Local Government, to discuss community issues.

I'm proud to have supported this location with the "dining with friends" program that frequently occurs here.
