Such a shame this was a bad experience. I was looking for somewhere to begin weekly relaxation massages. While I communicated several times during the appointment, "too hard", "gentle", "relaxation, leave muscles alone"; the deep pressure continued with yanking and pulling on fingers and wrists, which was quite painful and I literally had to raise my voice,say stop and pull away. Staff I believe need to be trained in the different styles of massage as one massage technique cannot be passed of for all. Add to this that there was minimal aromatherapy oil selection and I could not smell anything once I did make my selection. Plus the absolute debacle of them losing my appointment. I will certainly be searching out another option at Ipswich for a weekly one hour massage.

I have a terrible bone disease that leaves me in chronic pain and also gives me fluid buildup that looks like a hump on my shoulders.
I had 75 minutes with SUSAN
She gave me the best deep tissue massage I think I’ve ever had.
So strong and knows her stuff. If you like a good hard massage that gives you that good pain that’s needed, Susan is the lady you need to see. She also does cupping and dry needling. Thank you Susan you made me feel amazing 🙏🏻🙏🏻

I don’t usually write reviews like this, but I think it’s important to share my honest experience.

During the massage, I asked for “shiatsu” style pressure, but the therapist asked me what that meant, and I wasn’t able to explain it clearly — which may have been my fault due to the language barrier.

The technique used involved a lot of strong shaking of my head, which I asked to be gentler several times, but unfortunately it wasn’t adjusted.

After the session, I felt very dizzy and nauseous. These symptoms are still present now (right after the massage), though I expect they won’t last long.

This may just be a personal reaction, and the technique might work well for others.

I hope this feedback is helpful for both the therapist and future customers who may be sensitive to this kind of style.

I had a massage today from Joy, 45min remedial. She was very professional, checking if I was happy and wanted to have oil etc. 5/5 would recommend. I entered with a stiff back and neck, left feeling great.

I have been to this place 3 or 4 times now and the service and results are phenomenal. Today's list was a very relaxing and very rewarding with the overall outcome thanks to Joy who was able to deliver the treatment in a very professional but caring manner. Make sure you do not pass up the opportunity to have massage at this place

Had a young male therapist. Never had a chance to ask his name. Too harsh. Too hard. Never asked me my pressure preference. Never asked where to focus. Never asked in the middle of the session if I am doing okay. Or his pressure is enough. Applied the hot towel without warning. Just did his task and later on told me its finish and went out. So unprofessional.

Same description with the other reviewer named Anita. Exact description and complaints. Never coming back here. It was my first time with them to let you know. Leaving a bad impression. They should give the best for first time customers/clients.
