The pool here is amazing. Really nicely done. Park is old, but still works quite well today. Lots of sites available and mainly grey nomads travelling. Most quite friendly and relaxed staying longer stints if weeks to months every year for the dry. We met some great neighbours who've become friends there actually and staff do a good job running the place

We had an extended stay here for 3 weeks.|Site #131 and #54|All sites have an ensuit. They are old but maintained well and in very good, clean condition. BYO toilet paper.|Site 131 had a wasp nest, which I told the hosts about, it was not removed while we were there, for 2 weeks. |Site 54, for our extended week. Is in the middle of 2 permanent sites, which is fine. It does have low hanging trees. Also, the hot water for ALL ensuits is via Solar. On this Site the Solar is shadowed by a tree, so No hot water. Told the hosts about this too. Nothing done about the tree while we were there.|The Hosts are lovely Mark and Scott.|The pool area and grounds very well looked after. We enjoyed the crystal clear, clean pool. |The laundry is well equipped, clean and has a designated washing machine for dog apparel. Bonus.|Machines were $5/load at the time. |Conveniently located. Quiet.|We would stay here again.

Great location close to shops and city - even better if you want the footy. Sites are clean and tidy. Powered sites only and every site has a private ensuite (although you need to provide your own loo roll). Reverse in sites with plenty of shade. The pool is one of the best I've seen in a caravan park with wheelchair (ramp) and stair access a ledge seat along the edges and a shallow young kids part. Plenty of deck chairs and shade or sun as desired.

We had a powered site. All sites have on suites. The bathrooms are lovely and clean. The park is beautifully maintained, green and spacious. It’s 15 mins to the museums and foreshore. Service is excellent with warm, friendly management. The pool is lovely too! Definitely recommend.

Great place to stay. Coles to the left Woollies to the right. Bus stop out the front. All sites are ensuites. Mark & Scott run the park so well. Make sure if you want extra time, do it straight away.

Conveniently located, this caravan park has all the standard amenities you'd expect. While some guests noted the proximity to the airport, we found the plane noise to be minimal and not an issue at all. The only downside was the solar hot water system—it didn’t quite have the capacity to reliably service the ensuite facilities for two sites, which was a bit inconvenient.

Marrara Caravan Park Darwin. Initially stayed on/ off for the past 3/4 years. Ideal for myself being a fly in/out to various communities, a lot cheaper and secure than parking at the airport. Each site has their own ablution. Always quiet and the amenities such as pool a sight for sore eyes. Laundry always clean never had to que. Secure gate adds to safety, security. Credit to returning on site manager Mark and Scott

Good location, no unpowered sites, so had to go powered, a bit crammed in but have own ensuite which was a new experience and handy not having to do a hike to amenities.
Had a nice size pool area too.
